THANKS . This cmd command is very useful.
Please guide as how to keep all cmd and RUN commands on a note pad or sticky notes etc over desktop. Suppose we want to use this commands daily how can i keep them on desktop copy these and access these commands. Please suggest a method for keeping these commands always visible.

Running chkdsk alone run a surface-scan. It is safer to start with it? If it found errors, we will run a scan. It will repair error online but some need to be repaired offline. Thus spotfix.

I need some help.
So yesterday I recovered all my files using chkdsk J: /f /r
It worked for all my drives except one. In the drive on which this command didn't work, it showed "Windows has made corrections to the file system" and I lost all my data, it just showed one file out of many.
So something happened to my drive again, and I'm afraid that if I run chkdsk J: /f /r, it'll show that error again and I will lose my data.
Please help.
