Pokemon has been on a massive tear over the last few months, and I always love doing these monthly videos so we can see all of the cards all together in one presentation. Here is my Pokemon Investing June 2024 edition - how to invest in these Pokemon Cards right now. Notice that I changed the thumbnail to say "Sell these now!" instead of "buy these now" because some of these Pokemon Cards, especially the Sword and Shield Alt Arts are absolutely bananas!

Already being flooded because these prices on the starlet and violet and Crown zenith will fall, way to soon for a price jump and imagine a lot of people got these cards cheap just selling now for cash before they drop. Markets already getting some what flooded and who'd be crazy enough yo pay the super inflated prices this early? Evolving skies is different it has enough age but crown zenith? What? Starlet and violet why? It's way to early and it's all to abundant right now.
Hey bro today is my birthday and opened some packs to test my luck and pulled both the umbreon vmax and glaceon vmax from evolving skies! Best birthday ever! It’s even better since how much these cards have gone up! ❤

I’m going with 151 English single illustrations as it’s fun, but a hedge with crown zenith and some paldean. I hope the gold beach court rare will be a Bob Ross type of cards. 😂

Good explanation of the evolution of prices in cards of various expansions so that people who want to invest can decide in a better way which expansion to buy. My best 2 picks right now and I’m on fire are magikarp from paldea and glaceon vmax from evolving skies … the glaceon is a mere 565 psa 10 and is only 300$ and the magikarp should be 250 raw psa 10 800

I’ll just continue to buy packs and out of print cards. The market will eventually level out and if it doesn’t, then I’ll just buy the Japanese alternative if I really want it in my binder. If I pull anything that’s on the high right now then I’m selling.

Haven't really been buying many singles right now, though I did recently pull the trigger on a PSA 10 Giratina V - couldn't help myself lol
Picked em all up at lows. Gengar at 150. Ray vmax at 200. Ray v at 80. Im 12 cards away from all full art or bwttwr for swsh. On to sun and moon.

Had every swsh alt art raw. You bet I sold them. Really helpled beef up my vintage psa stuff. At the end if the day im a 90s kid and a vintage fanboy. Had to jump on those stupid fast increases. Reminded me of the covid boom. No ragrets

Yea, its just all so speculative so I try and stay away from that for the most part

I've been wanting to start collecting gold and rainbow cards, and maybe the first movie cards, I'm hoping one day the prices catch up with the rarity
I’ve been wanting to collect rainbow cards too. I started with a rainbow trainer card I got last week
I thought I was going to be a sealed collector, but now this makes me want to rip all of my packs!

it would be smart to sell at high price and then try to buy low again but some of the cards may never come down like the moon i do not see it coming back down and it only rises

I'm so torn on selling the Greninja. From what I'm hearing it is not an easy pull hense why the value has gone up. Would sell it knowing I will get another for the collection but after these very hard pull rates, not sure if I should hold it... 😵💫
I would say sell it, wait a month and buy another one for $100 or less. Or sell it and put the $180 into another card (or product) you want more
I still suspect this card to come down a bit, but it's certainly holding up really well right now
I loved this recap. I think som SWSH cards are coming down or settling. It’s definitely not all. I will say I think with the rise of the singles, the booster boxes might be going up again.
