This kid is strong. Seeing him answering all those questions about his dad genuinely and honestly is amazing. Besides his uncle, he's the only one left bearing his dad's name. He has a great future ahead of him. A page has been turned, a chapter has been closed but the story is not over yet.

We pulled up to a house and the garage door open up and there was Eddie walking out to help unload their Amps. His famous guitar was their. When they were finished setting up Eddie turned on his amp and plugged in his guitar.
    Man I was blown away.

I really loved the interview with Wolf. He's a good kid. You know. We think rock star. We don't think about father husband. Eddie Van Halen was an inspiration for me and so many all across the world. He was that guy everybody learned from. Even people that don't play. It's crazy to imagine my hero gone. I've done the drugs and playing loud and long. Seeing Eddie get some inspired me to get sober. I've been clean since 2011. I would never have took that step if it wasn't for him I don't believe. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Heck the guitar has only changed historically by a couple guys. Leo fender Les Paul Eddie Van Halen there's two guys that worked on the bridge Floyd Rose and Robert Bigsby. Wolf is right Eddie Van Halen is the famous composer of our life. 200 years down the road the kids in music class is going to study about Eddie Van Halen and his Frankenstrat. That guitar is just as important to the history of guitar as the one that started it dreamed up by Les Paul. Wolfgang Van Halen you are just like your father. Freaking Awesome Dude! 👍🏻 I can't wait to see Wolfgang get into BOCEFUS mode. It's only about that much less than 5150! Beautiful song about Eddie. I'm ready for some Mammoth MuSiC👍🏻

@VonnieB Have you ever heard of the first amendment? Freedom of religion? By the way you Fundamentalist freak the dead are in heaven and we will see them again when we die. In the mean time they are with you. I know this from experience. Not that it is your business but I died and was brought back. But I was with my Nana when I was “dead” who had died fifteen years before my accident that caused this experience. The bible is just a book. Granted an important book but still just stories interpreted and passed on by the deciples Mathew, Marc, Luke and John. How YOU choose to interpret those stories and apply them to your life is up to you. How I choose to interpret those stories and apply them to MY life is up to you guessed it ME. Get out your good old Webster’s dictionary and Your precious bible and look up tolerance. Jesus Christ Himself preached tolerance of all men. Learn it. Bottom line there is a young man who is trying to learn to cope with the death of a key figure in his life. Wolfgang himself said he had to learn to live without a father. “I don’t have a Dad anymore” I believe was a portion of that quote because I felt badly for the young man I was trying to offer some encouragement.

The one and only guy perfectly capable of filling EVH's shoes and we all would love and support. Heck, can you imagine if Wolfie, Alex, Michael and Dave got together for another album with unreleased demo material and even new sessions?

Alex Van Halen is my opinion one of the greatest Rock N Roll drummers of all time. The Van Halen brothers truly changed rock music forever

Underrated for sure. He may not be the most “technical aficionado” like Colaiuta or Weckl however he has his own brand and style of rhythm that isn’t easy to capture. He and Eddie had that crazy brother music language and rhythm that was so unorthodox yet it fit the music so perfect and seamlessly. From Light Up the Sky to Right Now, those chops showed Alex’s creativity and talent.

Eddie Van Halen is the king. I was 14 years 9ld when VH1 was released. I was with my older brother and his friends going to a roller rink and my brothers friend hadb ust gotten VH1 on eight track tape and he put it in and I was absolutely blown away just like millions of other people/ fans. I immediately bought a guitar and started playing. Eddie Van Halen changed my life. Of course as one of the millions of guitarists whom he inspired, he was a god but Van Halen's music together as a band was, to put it simply, great. Still almost 2 years after Eddie has passed and Im still having a hard time accepting it and processing it. It's weird. Although he was a hero to many of us and a huge influence I never met him, I did see them live 3 times and of course would have loved to meet him but never did and still I feel the loss as if he were a family member. I guess it's silly but it really does suck beyond words. I feel for Wolfgang, Alex and the rest of the family, friends, fans. Later.

The fact that Eddie was actually open to the idea of working with both Mikey and Sammy again for that "Kitchen Sink" Reunion Tour, that suggests that Eddie couldn't have been a terrible person. This wasn't like Vinnie Paul blaming his brother's death on Phil Anselmo, holding a grudge, and becoming permanently estranged from him.
