This guy plays with his heart. That's how you gotta play King and Armor King. If you aren't playing with your heart, no reason to play these characters. They are really strong characters but people get so focused on the frame data of Armor King to have fun with him and it's why he kinda sits in the shadow of King. King is a monster if you go based on his frame data alone. It's frustrating how strong he is and fighting him can be a chore, but when a K/AK player plays with their heart, you for some reason have way more fun, even when you lose. Pay attention next time you fight an King or Armor King player.

@@Hyperoptix I love AK mirror matches or AK vs king matches. it's most of my tekken 7 friendslist that consists of those players. not who does the most optimal combos, but who can win in the coolest ways.
He attacks after f3 or f34 because the threat of the followup hit keeps you in check

but thing is though, it's funny because it can work against even seasoned veterans like JDCR because he's so used to playing at a high level where people don't play this random and unpredictable, they tend to play more safe but players at these ruler ranks and lower ranks don't know any of that or have respect for frames, or some don't even know the concept of frames, so that can throw off people even somebody at JDCR's caliber lol. Being able to play unpredictably is actually a good asset, but this AK is really not even doing that on purpose, he's just playing the game however he feels like it instead of actually trying to play mind games or mix it up
Absorbing this AK's ungabunga might be the key to winning the next EVO

when i played T7 i was an AK main and like this guy i loved to do the backflip into the shoulder. And yes ,nobody knows how to counter it (i was in yaksa)
This is an indubitably online Tekken player. This dude never bothered learning the actual game nor the fundamentals, nor the rules behind the game. Since the game doesn't teach you shit, he just grinded with some other character until he was able to optimize his gameplay just by doing what works online.
On one side, it's insane that Tekken is so complex and full of bullshit that even JDCR can get mixed up by a player who has no idea what he's doing, with his own main no less. On the other hand, this dude is impressive af, playing like that takes YEARS to actually get good. They usually end up like gatekeepers, stopping players who don't know the match-up from ranking.

@@zumba.c Most people don't including good players. His point was that players like this are the wall for people that know how to play vs don't.
@@xOmniCloudx Not really, they don't actually test if you're good at the game or not in case you didn't notice he beat JDCR a couple of times. What they do test is your match-up knowledge by using flowcharts and setups all the time. They actually do a disservice to the quality of the community because it incentivizes people to just mash/knowledge check them instead, which usually works because they're not good Tekken players at all. These people should be hard stuck at the Green ranks and the fact that they're not shows how flawed Tekken is, both from a pure design point of view, and because it's not made to be an online game.
I love using that cartwheel + elbow too and succeeded hitting the oppponent :D
