Just found your channel and I gotta say you’re an absolute g bro 🙏🏽😤…you gotta make a video on your settings or a tutorial… I’ve been trying so hard to learn how to drift in this game🥲…I’m not the best driver in real life or sim since I started both just a year ago 😂😂😂 but this shit motivates me… keep up the fantastic work…definitely earned a sub 🙌🏾
Thanks a lot buddy! I appreciate it 🙏. And well, practice makes perfect so keep practicing everyday if you love it. My ffb settings are included at the end of the video: Controller sensitivity: 0 Max torque: 7 Force feedback sensitivity: 1 The car setup is fully default for this one except for brake balance controller installed and set to -2 (to the front), same for many of my videos. The ones with tuned cars include the car setup at the end. Check out these 3 videos: th-cam.com/video/OM8FbRu9WwA/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/Box3hghups4/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/GXXuJanQ0KU/w-d-xo.html I was working on a drifting tutorial video series, to cover everything about the topic from scratch, but got very busy lately and put that on hold. Will resume very soon. Thanks again for the sub and for you support buddy! 🤟🏻
haha yes I do. But I actually learned everything on the sim first. It was on GT5 with the Driving Force GT (awful wheel compared to these days lol). Which video do you mean btw? this one or my tutorial?
@@YT-BADBOYTEV if you're totally new to it that's normal. Took me a while at first to get used to it, and lots of practice. It later becomes part of your natural habits.
I think that GTS and GT7 Drifting is bizarre. Look at the inside wheel, it's moving more sideways than outwards. Old GT games arent like that. AC also isnt like that. the inside wheel is always dragging a bit more, but i think that it's excessive in this game. and in GTS, no matter how hard i tried, i could never get the car to snap into the drift, unless it was the DRIFT setup tab, but then it's more like a super arcade game. but it's a nice video regardless!!
Thanks man! 🤟🏻 Well i disagree. GTS and GT7 are very different. I have some very good real life drifting experience, so does my brother, and i find the physics in GT7 to be the most realistic of them all. I drifted so many hours in Assetto Corsa, it's fun and easier but it's not as realistic. My brother was addicted to Assetto Corsa until GT7 came out. He too agrees that nothing felt and behaved as realistic as this one. I'll tell you why it feels bizarre. It's because it is so detailed in terms of physics that you need the feel of G-Forces that we get in real life to be able to fully control the car. Add to that the very wrong understanding of the ffb settings all over the internet. Try my settings: Controller sensitivity: 0 (it does make a difference for the wheel) Max torque: 7 (for the g29) Force feedback sensitivity: 1 (to disable damping) Use a brake balance controller with some front biased settings (i usually put it at -2) Put the tire wear and fuel consumption to 1. And put on real grip reduction at track edges. In this video the car setup is fully default (except for brake balance) and i'm not using any drift tab or steering angle kit, and still on default tires even.
@@SimActionClips Maybe it's because I was using a T300 which may or may not be broken but it felt so twitchy when I played it a few months ago. I think because the G29 is a little bit less sensitive than the t300. I have clips on my channel but I just felt my car would spin out too easily when you got some angles. Maybe I'm Just used to Assetto Corsa. Have you got videos of you drifting in real life ?
I think it should be easier using the T300 because it's much more responsive than the G29. Also being more sensitive adds to the feedback and makes it easier to respond to the behavior of the car. I do get what you mean about feeling the car would spin too easily, i feel the same too. As i said Assetto Corsa is much easier, but GT7 is much more realistic... by far. Now to get the full potential and full realism out if it, we both need better wheels. We should use either the TGT2 or the DD PRO. I'm planning on getting one soon. You need a fast wheel to keep up with the fast spinning nature of a drift car's steering wheel, especially when doing agressive transitions. You can see me in my videos helping the wheel spin faster with my hands, while in real life i would simply let go of the wheel and just catch it back at the right moment. In real life i let the suspension geometry of the car do the work for me. And yes i have so many videos drifting in real life, but i'm keeping them for when i have more subscribers to get some good use of them. This one was 2 years ago, you can watch it on my tiktok channel: vt.tiktok.com/ZSRSCu9N4/
Good work g
Thanks buddy!
