I'm finally having fun playing on my g29 steering wheel, thank you, you're doing what polyphony digital and steering wheel manufacturers should be doing.
Haha thanks man. I'm really glad that this is helping you guys enjoy it as much as I am. You're welcome and thanks a lot for your feedback, I really appreciate it! 🤟🏻🤟🏻
Just want to say thank-you for this information, I was really struggling since the new update - everything felt wrong. I used your recommendations here and have noticed a significant improvement in my ability to control the car - I feel much more in control now. Perfect - thank you.
I have not be able to make a single lap on my G29 without spinning out at least once. I updated your settings and have not spun out once. Thank you for letting me enjoy my game again.
Dude you have fixed my problems since I have brought my rig!!! I've been looking for these settings the hole time!!! Thank you man!!!! Makes GT playable again!!!!
This made a huge difference with my G29! Thank you. It has shaved off 5 seconds per lap in LeMans grind for me. These setting are great for regaining or maintaining control in a slide.
These settings and this video totally changed GT7 for me, the game now does what I would expect of a car, rather than it feeling like a point and shoot game.
Thanks bud. Appreciate the tips. Been able to finally lock in and pull at least top five online. It's been pretty frustrating since the update and I think this is the key. Cheers!
I've been following your FFB settings videos, great work! I wanna share with you that *increasing Force Feedback Sensitivity* (you recommend at "1") will actually increase the "Minimum Feelable Force", but without increasing "Force Feedback" as shown in your graph. *FFB Sensitivity selectively magnifies the low force feedback* especially useful when drivers can't feel the low force feedback situations. One example to show this is, drive the Tomahawk on Route X, with FFB Sensitivity "10" but Max Torque "1". On the straights where there should be only minimum FFB, yet you will feel the huge force feedback as they are magnified immensely. On my G29, I set sensitivity to "3" (and max torque at "6") as it only magnifies the minor FFB, making it more obvious to me.
Followed the setting for g29 yesterday and totaly forgot about them as today i went on the game and what a difference the new settings actually do work 100% 👍
Previously, 7+months ago, on a G29 controller sensitivity more than 5 actually results in a non linear steering curve meaning the in game character would turn the steering wheel more than real world turn. I can say for certain that it made catching snap oversteer much easier. Now I've upgraded to a DD. So I don't know if that's the reason, but now when I set it to more than 5 the animation is still 100% linear with real world. I myself find it much easier to catch a slide with higher controller sensitivity.
It should be noted that this is mostly opinion based. Aside from the ff max torque setting, all settings are going to be up to preference. Tweak one setting at a time, test it, and if you find your adjustments improve your experience, keep it and move to the next setting. There is no one set up that is “the best”. Applying the settings shown in the video made the whole game unenjoyable to play (for me, not everyone will feel the same) and my lap times dropped by a whole few seconds. Turning the vibration to 0 and ff sensitivity to 1 made cars feel more like driving my mom’s van, not more “realistic”. Of course there may also be a learning curve. I also personally felt like the updates made the cars much easier to handle. Tires have a much more prominent roll in suspension and provide more feedback. The feedback from vibration and the ff sensitivity are useful for knowing what both the front and rear tires are doing. It’s up to you to tweak your settings and learn what to do with that feedback
great video thank you, im running fanatec DD pro and have tried the controller vibration sensitivity at max 150 and zero and there is no difference driving the same car on the same track porsche gt3 at spa which I race constantly
drove and drifted with the t-gt2 6/10 1.51 ago now the front wheels of many cars feel like bouncing inflatable boats. that's why i set it to 6/1 when drifting and racing at 6/5
Thanks for the settings info. The 10 on controller sensitivity really helped a lot as I was still on 5. I have tried every setting on my G Pro and the feedback is still rubbish. It’s a violent mess! I hope PD fix it soon!
turn torque down 1 or 2 clicks and have sensitivity on 1 or 2 im on a trusty t300 and having higher sensitivity in my case induces more shaking than torque im on 6 and 1 or 5 and 2 depending on what's being driven.
Try same settings with lower max torque. Controller steering sensitivity: 10 Force feedback sensitivity 1 Max torque at 5 or lower... not sure what is best you have to test it since I don't have one.
The SF-1000 has a bigger diameter than the original TGT-II wheel. So start with max torque at 6 like I do, and if you think it's too light, increase it gradually while testing each 1 increment. I still think 6 can be ideal, especially with race cars, but you need to try it yourself.
Controller sensitivity to 10.... I really dunno kinda sounds good for drifting but not racing. The movement in this is going to promote oversteer in racing, but good for drifting.
I do agree with you. Tan is probably great for drifting on my Logitech Pro. I couldn't. really go above 5. It caused too much oversteer, but yeah, he's talking about drifting
You're gonna have to bring real proof that controller sensitivity affects wheel. I've messed with this multiple times, no difference. When I say real proof, I mean you're going to have to measure a difference in a way that others can recreate or falsify it. Otherwise, because of my own testing, I'm gonna have to chalk this up to placebo. Grip, dirt, and drifting in gt7, I've discovered absolutely zero difference in the wheels behavior or connection to the front wheels when adjusting this setting.
Mess with car being stationary and watch it back in the replay, will notice delayed reaction from wheels Didn't believe it myself, knew of difference for controller users but not for wheel users
I agree. There's no difference in driving feel. The other guy responded there's a visual difference but that doesn't matter. If you need to go to replay to look for a difference with a fine tooth comb it's negligible. Telling people with cheaper wheels to set the FFB on 10 is a sure way to get them to experience FFB fade due to overheating. FFB sensitivity setting was always noise. I had it on 1 before those updates and the result is the same. One thing for new updates I've noticed is I can no longer use one size fits all. I change the settings depending on what road/race car I use.
Of course, this depends on the quality of your heel. I have a Logitech Direct Drive Pro and Exactly right. It does affect it. I've also seen other well known Devs. discuss this. Kerith discusses and he's exactly right. It does affect so I'm sorry if you're testing. You didn't feel it, but many others agree with him
@@mumar7867 that's not measurable. I need something either reproducible or falsifiable via some type of actual measurement. I'm sorry but. "Look at the car move" ain't gonna cut it
@@Rickk69er purely anecdotal, I want to see a real study, with real measurements that I can do myself and either confirm or falsify. I want actual science on this. Because I've adjusted this settings many times. Absolutely no difference.
@@wayneorchard_GTUK Right! I can't believe people are buying into this. Then argue with you when you simply tell them they are gonna have to bring real science on this one. "Look at the car in the replay" is not enough. I'm hoping it's placebo and he honestly thinks he feels a difference. But considering the nature of youtube, I'm more apt to believe it's just a hot take for clicks 🤷

Obviously DD is another world if compared to G29. There is no way you try to predict G29 feeling in new upgrade based on what you have now.
From my Logitech Pro I did controller sensitivity, 5 forced feedback one and Max torque six that worked perfect for the Logitech Pro
He's back!
yow 🤟🤟❤
@ tried it out and it's so much better!
thank you! would turning off the vibration setting also mute the TGT wheel's special effect?
Wow what the hell. I've been on my old settings. Just matched yours and the game has come alive again!
There is hope 🙏😂
I'm really glad for this! Good to see how much you guys are enjoying this! Thanks a lot for your feedback! 🤟🏻🤟🏻
Any recommendation/tutorial on Logitech pro wheel settings (not game settings)
What setting for t300?
How about ffb max torque for t300 rs?
I don't do any drifting at all, will these settings still apply to just regular racing, I'm using the Logitech G29, thanks for sharing.
You're welcome man! Yes I apply these for both drifting and racing. I even set times very close to top 10 with these settings.
@@SimActionClips Thank you very much for the reply and for sharing the settings.
My pleasure

For the grip racing with ss tires or rs tires do u put the ffb down cus the hardness is really high
great video thank you, im running fanatec DD pro and have tried the controller vibration sensitivity at max 150 and zero and there is no difference driving the same car on the same track porsche gt3 at spa which I race constantly
Because your wheel hasn’t got a transducer to vibrate . So this setting is useless to you on the Fanatec dd .
Welcome back

what a great video dude thank you

Not to be rude, but this made mu g29 even shakier, anyway to fix that?
The guy drifts man…. This isn’t good setting for fast driving
turn torque down 1 or 2 clicks
