Thanks Joyce for the interesting summary. So seems there's 2 options:
    1. configure connect Salesforce Lakehouse to Iceberg.
    2. configure connect Salesforce Lakehouse to Snowflake which then can access Iceberg via external tables.
    3. does this means we can have both 1 and 2 for example ?

Option 2 is the path because Snowflake has developed platform infrastructure to support fully Iceberg. Option 1 is not really a viable option, at least not in the near-term.

Hi @@JoyceKayAvila but can we have both direct simple raw Iceberg + Snowflake connection types configured in Sales force ? And I wonder how these configs are done.. are they global or can they be per SF domain etc ?

@@emanueol I'm working on gathering and summarizing some of the details that will help to answer your specific questions. Looks like I'll need to prepare a followup video soon :)

Hi @JoyceKayAvila I know this is pretty old but have you been able to find any information on configuring Data Cloud to work with Iceberg Tables?
