Nice, I tried on my 3008 and broke a piece of glass off the windshield which is bonded to the mirror stalk base. Because it looks similar to yours. Now I am looking for a way to reattach it.

Done the same but completely cracked my windscreen now I’m looking at £600 to replace😭
