hello can we use a smps to produce 24v DC and use it to create a 24V DC bus and from that 24 V DC bus we could use as 24V supply to NO contacts instead of using 24V supply from RIO to relay contacts. In this way i could prevent complete failure of feedback signals coming from that RIO. what i mean is if there some cable issue of 24V DC from RIO to Relay room then we could loose the voltage for feed back. if i use an external 24V DC in parallel to 24V power supply coming from RIO then even if there is breakage of wire i could still be getting feedback signals. if i am wrong please correct me.

Sir agar marshalling cabinet mein 230V supply or 24Vdc de rhe alag se then its a wet contact and agar wo supply marshalling cabinet mein nahi de rhe but field mein kahin se us item ke pass aa rahi then its a dry contact?because field mein bhi jo item lga hai use kahin se toh supply mil rahi hogi? Sir yeh aap practically dikhayein along with this board explanation then it will be more clear.
first of all you need to clear your basics about the filed devices supply system, i already made a video on 2,3& 4 wire transmitter supply video which show hoe the field devices will powered on. once you will clear the concepts the you can easily understand the concept that i explain in this video.

in dry , we don't inject any kind of supply, but in wet contact , we are injecting the supply to the field equipment.
