No offense but TH-cam channels like yours are why thrift stores have become like this. There was never an issue until every one had to make tiktoks and youtube videos. Thankfully those lists posted on reddit and social media half of it I would never even grab if I found it in a thrift store. Plus there's so much they're missing. Trends change constantly and thrift stores can't keep up. I'll be glad when the majority of resellers and TH-camrs can't find stuff in thrift stores and give up. It'll push out the competition and rude people out of the thrift stores. I'm sick of seeing it plastered everywhere on the internet. Most TH-camrs step so low to get views they'll film people in their worst moments in hopes for some views not knowing what someone is going through. Imagine if their own family members were filmed and gawked at after making a mistake or poor choice. It's sad really. People have become so predatory and judgemental just for likes and views.
I stopped donating to Goodwill a couple years ago when I saw them doing this in my area. I mean, ALL the thriftstores are getting more expensive, but GW is a special kind of increase. Luckily there are a couple of other places locally here where I can still donate (and shop). In southern California here.

I’ve suspected as much, I believe they will have to close numerous stores. My local stores just started w commerce too. If thrift stores as a whole die I will be pretty sad, can’t say I’ll be too sad to see goodwill go under., however will be sad for all of the people who lose their jobs over it though. It was Entirely preventable if it does end up happening.
You’re probably gonna regret sharing this info, because it’s just gonna bring you more competition when and if you decide to partake in the auctions. There’s more to it as well but I don’t need more competition. I’d rather keep to myself and get as many great deals as I can while it’s quiet as kept. Just a thought 🤷🏽♀️
Good Will have been Sucking for A while Now. Every since they send all the Video Games to other places.And most Thrift Stores look all stuff up now.They are getting rich off stuff they get for Free. Kinda Sucks but at least we still have Yard Sales and Flea Markets

Yes we are on vacation and checking on thrift stores in other states to see what else is happening

It is very rare I go into a Goodwill around me anymore. Way too pricey and non negotiable on price even if it’s damaged.
