Viggo Mortensen almost died when playing Aragorn in the Lord of The Rings. An enemy threw a knife, and was supposed to miss, but it ended up going straight at him. Luckily, he managed to deflect the knife with his sword, and the scene ended up in the actual movie.
The best part of this story is, that the knife was a real metal one, but his sword wasn't. They somehow forgot to change the knife before shooting, so he actually deflects a sharp Metal knife with a Toy sword. Cant remember if it was rubber or plastic or something else
What about Natalie Portman in Black Swan or Anne Hathaway in Les Misarables? They both lost weight and were hospitalized for malnutrition. They also both won Oscars for their performances.

In that case, they should have waited. The movie was already at a hurdle of being a mediocre sequel. It at least should been the original 4 Horsemen. Plotwise, it made no sense for her not to be there. The replacement they did get, wasn't that great. She really didn't fit in. Which made the impression of the movie even worse.

Pretty much only correlation based information. Acidic body is important part of cancers and infections, and/or crappy immune system. Emily Blunt was not to blame for the accident, and it's messed up to say she is. It's the director and stunt coodinator's responsibility to choreograph and rehearse stunts, and make sure actors are adequately qualified to preform them safely, or to use a professional stunt person instead. Delegating a dangerous job that risked both Tom's and Emily's lives to an actor who may not have been prepared was a mistake made by the people in charge
Method acting, as a tool, needs to go. How is it helpful for actors to drive themselves crazy, or starve their bodies of nutrients with fad diets, or get injured doing mad things, just to 'get into' a role? You're an actor - pretend! We'll forgive you for not going air-eterian or taking up blindfold cliff diving or whatever.
It's pretty obvious... Some people have different commitment levels to their craft. It's arguably more convincing if you can feel what your character is supposed to feel by putting yourself through the same situations. They can make their own decisions about how they want to work, you can still also get injured in other jobs or even just regular acting.
I literally was so confused about this because literally whenever I say hanged as in "they hanged him" everyone tells me I'm wrong. I just looked it up and I have been using it right. I'm so mad about this. Thank you for your comment

A little too impressed by his idol, Clancy Brown missed what should have been a benign move : during the fight between Kurgan and Ramirez, Kurgan had to cut a table in two with his big sword, but Brown struck with the flat of the weapon, and the sword broke instead of the table. The severed blade flew away and nearly missed Connery’s head...
