- TH-cam Shorts and TikTok Videos led me to believe people with high screen time where lazy and unproductive.
After talking to college students. My mind has changed.
Maybe your mind has changed as well.
How Do you Spend time on your Phone?
I have no social media except yt if that counts and idk how i spend 2 hrs on a avg wasting time here..
Other than that its all just minute things like whatsapp, study apps, etc.
@@natashaengtipi1004 Some think YT is social. I don't think it really is. I see socail as a place where friends and connect. May people have IG or Tiktok account and few have YT accounts.
It's good to hear you use other apps.
I also wouldn't consider those 2 hours wasted.
Most interviews that are made with this format are usually so useless and I lowkey question why people ask random questions to literal strangers. While there is for obvious simple entertainment, I like how you made yours into a learning experience and elaborated on what and why you where doing this. Love this video you are soo underated

I felt the same with with a lot of the content I saw online around this topic. I wanted to go deeper.
Most the videos I see my friends watch are for entertainment and not educational purposed. I want to combine them both.

Incredibly video, I like that you gave a unique and nuanced perspective that shows not all usage of screen time is negative as is usually determined. @@calebquimby I love the interview educational content mix you're currently doing. Also the cuts to other places to keep it fresh. Maybe adding some subtitles once in a while could be nice. As for video ideas; I see a lot of people doomscrolling on TikTok, maybe interview them about what's keeping them on the platform so long? You could explain what it does to our brains by being on social media for too long. Maybe also about FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). Anything could be possible as long as you are passionate about it.
