2005-2015 Nissan Xterra 4.0 Oil Leak: Oil Cooler Gasket

Today we have a 2006 Nissan Xterra with a sizable oil leak. At first glance it would appear to be coming from the oil filter, but there is actually an o ring behind the oil cooler that is the source of the leak. This is a common issue an all of the Nissan 4.0 engine but this process should be the same on 2005 Nissan Xterra, 2006 Nissan Xterra, 2007 Nissan Xterra, 2008 Nissan Xterra, 2009 Nissan Xterra, 2010 Nissan Xterra, 2011 Nissan Xterra, 2012 Nissan Xterra, 2013 Nissan Xterra, 2014 Nissan Xterra, and 2015 Nissan Xterra.

did you check the oil pressure relief valve? and do you know how to replace it?
