@tkmafkng I have owned a DA5 for a couple months and it's a cool little amp. The volume level is actually surprisingly good for a 5 watt amp. WAY better than those little 9volt jobs. This is probably one of the best beginner practice amps you could possibly find for under $70 (American Music in Fresno sells them for $69.95) It's almost as loud as my 15 watt Crate amp and sounds a lot better because it has all the built in effects and presets. Plus it's battery powered if you want it to be.
@Bon0 no, it doesn't... my Marshall JVM410H head with my 1960AC cab and Gibson LP Classic is a lot closer. Ok, I admit, it isn't the same price range :D
i just got the 50watt version of this amp yesterday its really good much better than the marshalls i had..it was really cheap for the quality of sound you get..what setting are you on here for the intro? thanks..
look i got a marshall valvestate 2020 and a marshall jackhammer. and i have the exact slash tone try this settings: CLEAN CHANNEL: BASS 3 o' clock TREBLE max. MARSHALL JACKHAMMER: gain: max treble :max bass: 3 o clock freq: 12 cont:max
@AlexandriaAshbourne think about the other persons.... the mic is allmost allways better then the mic in the camara not because it aint loud enough but for the quality...

How did you do that? I have a Vox DA5 to and i get an ok metal tone but i cant get that perfect slash tone. how were you able to do it what sound settings do you set it on?

@tkmafkng are you expecting him to crank it so loud it comes into your living room? He has a mic so you can hear the the guitar. Hopefully you put a mic on any amp you record.
With respect to all you guys who like to copy the tone of others, Why would you want to copy some other guitarist's sound ? What's wrong with your own ?

The tone also works on a cheap b.b blaster amp. It's basically Bass: 8, Tone: 6.

No. I don't use any pedals here. This is purely demonstration of this amp. No pedals and directly input to the DA5.

It can duplicate the one track and overlay them, and hang one over a tad bit giving it a dual track sound

This was Gibson Les Paul Classic made in 2000.

Add an effect that transitions mono>>to>>stereo in this case, a bit of reverb.
would you ever considor puting the seymour duncan alnico pro 2 pickups in the gibson eds-1275 (doubleneck)
@Dkr84 buy marshall mg 100 hfx its not that expencive, and its a good half stack amp :)
No, I've never think about it. My EDS is in good condition about it's sound. And if I want to replace them, I need 4 APH-1s. Too expensive...

Nice tone, but it sounds like there's not enough sustain, just add a little more gain and it's perfect!

y dont u psot ur settings mate. i had to hold my DA5 next to the screen and pause it at 0:02 to try and deduce it.... grrr lol

There's only one thing to say. You can do it with this amp. You should take much time to find some tone you like with this amp.
How do you want to get a stereo sound with just ONE track from ONE mic??

what are the settings for the amp? i have it, and the same pickups on my guitar, so i guess i can get close with the right settings. i play a lot of GnR so it's nice to sound like slash.
