  • Cooler Master have launched a brand new case that costs £100 supports backwards cabling like MSI Zero and Asus BTF - comes with 4x ARGB Fans and a tempered glass window. This could be an amazing budget start to your next rig and the saving on those fans alone is awesome.

front i/o is in a weird/awkward position. I keep my case under my desk on a shelf, and even the power button on this case would be annoying, the usb ports... even worse.

Beautiful and really nice case, specially for the price. But I can't get this feeling out of me, that, it just looks like, since the Fractal and NZXT minimalistic styles days every big manufacturer just seems to be kinda iterating in their (Fractal, NZXT) creations. Perhaps In Win or Lian Li, Silverstone have some different ones. But the majority seem really close to that minimalistic design.
Not a problem per say, very beautiful and functional, I just miss those days with the more aggressive curves that corsair, Cooler master themselves made so elegantly. Perhaps I am just unaware that they're still out there haha.
Great video Tom, the build looks great!

I think the bold designs nowadays would look a bit tacky. This is meant to be a mass market case. A bit like a cheaper version of the 700D from Corsair

Will a very thick (60 mm without fans) 360 radiator fit into the top without colliding with the RAM (normal height)?

Looks kinda sorta ok for the money, although personally I'd probably dig just a little deeper into my savings and spring for something from the Lian Li 011 range.

It looks like a Corsair case... for grown ups. Seriously, "rip-offs" are yawn-inducing and I don't like them; but this says "Pwned!", but very subtly, to me. Neither do I like the Blindingly Twitty Format, an idea looking for somewhere to die in my opinion, but I like the execution at the price here. "You can if you want - but you needn't." at no particular cost I like a lot. Four reasonable fans thrown in too? You have my attention. Even the snap-outs and PSU filter get a pass. I'd replace the fans for quiet; but I'd do that with cases £50 more. At the price, it is a canvas to get creative with too; without loosing too much sleep if it goes a bit tits-up. Tidy the bottom with plasticard trimmed to pass just the cables you use; with or without own grommets. The solid panel didn't wobble to be noticed either. A sign of while cheap; where it matters not cheaped materially. I'm actually annoyed I've no damned reason - even stretching it a lot - to get this in!

Hope the haf 500 get a revision too, I like remove the fucking PSU shroud.

Note at 5:37 - This is dangerous and builders should NOT remove these rear PCI covers with the motherboard still installed. Always remove the motherboard first. This method can easily cause damage to caps in the audio area with various motherboards, I have tried this way and damaged my motherboard. Big fail on Cooler Master's part to not provide current-gen easy to remove covers here, lazy on their part. Nice review!

Not that good of a deal
This just seems like a more expensive Phanteks XT Pro Ultra. Its about £30 less

Agreed. Ive not seen that case in person though - I think all brands will end up with a 'cheap' version that are very similar.

Too expensive for the features. Cheap filter at the top and PSU. Plastic clips for front panel, once broken, that’s it. £60-70 max and being generous.

Top filter isnt really going to be used as a filter though is it.....

Its great value - it isnt meant to be for everyone (then again most things aren't)
