I feel like they should have ended the album with Deliverance. That song is so perfect and listening to anything after that outro is always gonna be anticlimactic.
you probably mean the direction they've taken since the album Heritage of 2011...I am disappointed too...I heard these 4 albums after the album Watershed of 2008, Heritage, Pale Communion, Sorceress and In Cauda Venenum and I didn't like them...

Un des meilleurs albums d'Opeth 🖤
Haven't listened to this since high school
Profound Gothic beauty
Haven't listened to this album in 15 years,but it's a goddamn masterpiece
What have you been doing?
@@itskeor probably listening to some shitty bands
go ahead and turn in your card, bruh.
Un placer escuchar Opeth, cada instrumento es pura maestría, se extraña a Martín López, muy pulcro en la percusión🥁🎯
SOEN ENTONCES
A Fair Judgement , my new Opeth's n° 1 song
Evil album
🤟
Its hard not to think on King Crimson. Some passages resemble to them - if Adrian Beleur had growned, of course
Yeah 🖤🤘
\m/ brutal riff xD killer

The end to deliverance should be the hold music for hell. I mean this in the best way
Even though Mikael Åkerfeldt no longer likes this genre, it still feels good from time to time.
He still likes it, have you listened to their new song? The new album is a death metal record like before.
he is bringing back the growls. its who he is
@@Bryan-js2is rad
@@MomentofSilenceBand fuck yes
He sold his ass... and ticket prices are now through the roof.
They have evolved,it's called growing up! To the person not happy with the directions.
They sure evolved…backwards…
@@Agalloch1234 that would be devolved...sorry you don't like it, but you're not doing the composing/performing so we will have to accept it
👍
A fair judgement is so brilliant. This whole album is great. I'm a little disappointed with the direction they've taken for the last 8 years or so.
nah they're good either way. I love both their old and new stuff

guess it gets harder for 50 yo to play extreme death metal
their best prog rock is so far is Pale Communion, in fact I got it as one of their best albums.
@@panoskarliotis382 Pale Communion is great since heritage era.
I will deliver humanity today from the devil they are
