Clay, Try black magic marker or any other color for belt straps. Cleaner look and easier to apply. Respectfully submitted from a Dayton Ohio builder now in LA California. Congrats on all your really beautiful builds especially that Vette! Regards, Jim Bunch
Awesome! Use, Magic Marker to tint the seat belt tape, gives that subtle sheen seen on the nylon webbing used for prototype race car belts like Simpson, Diest and others. Comes in color themes seen in race cars Black, Red, Blue...
I just tacked it to the clothes pin with some white glue so it wouldn't move around on me. I get those parts from Ted at tedsmodelingmarketplace.com/ he's great to deal with!

It's much more relaxing watching you do the work, than when I do. 😂
SO much better than trying to loop top and bottom on one buckle. Just glue the ends together, BRILLIANT! :D
We're all about quick and easy here buddy. :)

Great stuff as always Clay. Love seeing your techniques
Awesome as always! 2 Questions: Did you super glue the pad to the piece of wood while you painted it? Where can I get the PE seatbelt hardware?
I just tacked it to the clothes pin with some white glue so it wouldn't move around on me. I get those parts from Ted at tedsmodelingmarketplace.com/ he's great to deal with!
Using the medical tape for seatbelts is an incredible idea. Another use of creativity in modeling.
Looks amazing. I’m going to have to pick some if them up. I don’t particularly like MCG’s or DM’s. Thanks for sharing. Great job👍👍
Thanks for watching!
