Traditional Swedish Dala Horse Felt Christmas Decoration

Learn how to make a traditional Swedish Dala Horse Christmas Decoration using only felt, thread and cotton wool. This Swedish Christmas ornament is both easy and inexpensive to make and will make your home look extra hygge this Christmas!
You can make your Dala horse decoration as easy or as complicated as you like, depending on how decorative you are with your stitching!
Background to the Dala horse:
Dala horses (also known as Dalecarlian horses or Dalahäst) are traditionally carved, painted wooden horse statuettes originating from a Swedish province called Dalarna. In the old days the Dala horse was mostly used as a toy for children; in modern times it has become a symbol of Dalarna, as well as Sweden in general.
You will need:
Felt (two or more colours of your choice)
Thread (at least two colours)
Cotton wool (stuffing)
