This is amazing to me to watch! Being able to watch artists work fascinates me and you are amazing! I can watch you but I have no idea how to watercolor or color choice, just WOW! Thanks for sharing. I would rather watch creative things than TV!
Wow, you are so talented!! You've inspired me to play with my watercolors that have been in a drawer for too long! Thanks for sharing the process and your amazing card!
Boy this was fun!! I love to watch you add the shading. I have the heart, but not the mushrooms, YET... lovely job and it was so great to watch you work your magic!! TFS🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for doing this Angelica. I have these toadstool dies but never tried watercoloring them. Your card is wonderful and I will be giving this a try.
❤ amazing as always I have the fern and I have the Overwood set and I have the mushrooms and I’ve never use them so guess what I’m gonna be doing very shortly. Thank you. I appreciate this tutorial.
Hi Angelica, I found your card on the Greetery and had to stop over to your channel. This is such a magical card! I'm not familiar with the art of watercoloring, why do you have to do sooooo many layers of color? Does the paper just drink up that much paint that if you don't it will be too light? I need an art lesson! Haha
Hi Sara, thanks so much for stopping by. About watercolor layers, most watercolors are translucent. Do you need to do 10 layers like I did? No. I don’t know why I did so many in this video, I just painted until I liked the way it looked. I used a lot of water mixing my colors, so there wasn’t a lot of pigment I was putting down. When The water dries, and the pigment stays on the paper. Which is why I dried in between each layer. Some colors dry flat. Others granulate. I hadn’t used this color palette in a while, so I was just playing around, seeing how I can move the pigments around. I turned my camera on since I hadn’t watercolored in a while. And this video was the end result. ❤️
Gorgeous! Thank you
This is absolutely incredible! A piece of art for sure!
Thank you so much❤️
Those are the cutest little mushrooms I’ve ever seen ❤❤
Thank you so much. I’ve had these dies for years, and they never get old. ❤️
I love this card. I never would have come up with the combo of the fern and the heart with the mushrooms on my own, but it’s perfect!
You have such a way with watercolors! Whether it's Daniel Smith or Crayola paints--your work is always inspiring!
You’re always so supportive, Donna. Thank you. ❤️
So beautiful! 💕
