We are feeling your pain. Such a fast car and then to have mechanical issues. I did not see anyone that could have run with Mike. Once again the draw can be your friend or not in Billy's case. Keep your heads up and things will get better for The #35 and #96 teams. Nice to see the teams trying to help another team, good on them. Stay safe and happy motoring.

I was watching on Flo, and my heart sunk when I saw Mike come to a stop.

We were there that night cheering Mike on. Heartbreaking. Even went to see him after and tell him good job keep your head up. You could see the disappointment in his face. Man that sucked!

Up unti 12 laps or so to go, there was a lot of cars passing on the top. Both heats and feature. A LOT of cars passing up high.
That’s half the reason I race. Teams helping teams get back out on the racetrack.

Track stayed nice! I do the tires on the 4a sportsman car and we had some tire wear we never usually get....but the the long runs will do that.....sticker tire was still in great shape on the RR
I follow 3 racing vlogs and was so excited that all 3 were on streaming live so turned on first one my guy was slowest car there tuned in to you guys saw Billys luck then was absolutlely thrilled to see Mikes scenario finally 3rd one started again slowest car so was all set for Mike to save my night LOL! That really sucks we are a racing family also so know the heartbreak all too well! Keep your chin up itll turn around

Saw the OP warning light coming on as car was coming off corner for a couple laps and then a bright red light and a trail of oil viewed from the rear camera. I know that one all too well....

Feel for Mike…I watched the highlights on flo or Mav and saw he broke and just turned it off! Your brother is so right…these cars can be so racey but 90% of the tracks you run have no banking and most of the time it is just one grove. Has to be frustrating for the drivers for sure! Get them next time!

OCFS....the toughest track in the nation to run!
I feel y'all's pain. We took our car out sunday for its first race and broke the transmission 3rd run. Dirt or drag racing both can break your heart.
Not the results we were all hoping for, an expensive night for both teams.
I hope Mike is able to get his engine program ironed out, 2 down is 2 too many this early in the season.

Well that really sucked hope it wasn’t the new Morgantini go get the next one hopefully with a new motor
Watching the gauges on Mike’s car, the middle red light was coming on at the end of the corner. It seemed like the engine might have been running out of oil at the end of the corner. That’s never good. It did look like a catastrophic failure with the vibration when it broke. Best of luck getting it fixed soon!
Seems they always run best just before...boom ! Just take a deep breath, come up with a plan and go get 'em next week.
Some can build a good motor..not many can build a great motor
Noticed every time you were on track the red light in center coming on every time coming out of the 2nd and 4th corner . Which gauge was that for? Saw the bright red light on the left side when engine locked up.
why don't the tracks use sheepsfoot rollers to put holes in the track surface so it holds the water in those holes and the track will stay moist

Mike is so much like my daddy was as good of a driver as anyone on the track worked on his owe stuff everyday very hard and had the shitties luck as anybody

they have been building BBC race engines since the 60s and there is no reason to have a failure now days

I forgot to ask? do they use radios and spotters for the teams when racing dirt ?
No. They do sometimes use racecievers (?) that allow officials to talk to drivers, but not drivers to officials! Sounds like the federal government! Ha!

@@georgedundas4844 I think they had one race last season that they could use normal radios in, but I don’t remember where. It must be tough, as a driver, to not be able to blame the spotter when they wreck! Ha!

I just don't get it🤔 this day in racing tight competing & clumsy slow pit stops , seen all around ,Hmmm " fast " dosent just come from a motor , as we all know . If so ? History proves , most of them have short lives on dirt .😊 Well mike 😊it's sweet to know your foot was in it heavy!! , as long as it held up , 🥂👍 . I want a hooooooddy.🥂😊
