Those icebergs are just majestic! The penguins are so awesome just hanging out there on the icebergs. I wannnttt one!! Were you able to pet any?
Sadly can't touch them at all... strict Antarctic Treaty Organisation rules... which I guess is a good thing because it's probably the only place on earth that isn't trashed and polluted!

Are the amount of icebergs reduced and do you know why some look really blue? Nice job getting close to penguins!
Good question, not being a geologist but having listened to one on the ship, there is a steady and constant decline of glaciers and icebergs in the polar regions. We were of course there in summer so there is the usual season melt but there's a general warming trend right now :)
Which lens do you have the 70-200 or 100-400? Can't decide which to take...
