I noticed you have a Corsair Commander core. You can connect a T sensor and then place the sensor on the 12VHPWR in ICUE set alerts. I have set mine to all fans red 55c shut down PC 65c this will prevent plug melting.
How you sole a problem with new 600w cable for 4090 card? You ordered a new cable so after that you can close the case by glass, which cable are you ordered?
hi mate i ordered a 90 degree cable from cablemod (NOT the 90 adapter as there on recall) but specific cable for my PSU = works great NO problems at all
Yeah too right I love that piece of metal - that being said I just installed all new AIO and 10 QX120 fans with new link controller and so much better - new video on Sunday
I also have the same problem with this PSU. It s my first ever PC i m building so i was confused if to insert both parts of the atx 24 cable.. very confusing stuff for newbies.
Hey man, your videos are always great and congrats on the new beast of a GPU! Corsair actually did just reveal new RGB fans that daisy chain off each other. I have the exact same case/fans you do and I know about the stress those additional cables are in a build lol
I was worried because my MSI 1000W PSU didn’t have enough separate PCIe cables for the 3-way splitter that come with my 4080 Super…..But I did see the PSU came with the 600W 12vphwr GPU cable and I was not sure if it was safe to run that directly from the PSU to the GPU. Now I don’t have all that ugly clutter with the pigtails and just a clean 600w cable in my GPU
Yeah looks much cleaner and worse case the psu also comes with 14+2 one side and then splits 2 x 8 pins so you could also then just use a normal pcie cable so you have 3 x in total. Glad u got it sorted and happy 😊
@@TechCheckUKhave you had any issues with running the 600W 12vphwer from PSU to GPU with any 4090s or 4080s? It definitely looks so much cleaner now with that cable
@OGFLYRY no problem at all and I have connected and disconnected 20 plus times.- Just ensure it's plugged in all the way and NOT bent to much and you will be fine 😊
The set up is still looking top draw. In your opinion is there any big differences from 3000 to 4000 series? I've still got it in my head I'm skipping a generation.
Hey great video I’ve just bought the psu in your video I’m going to be using it for my RTX 3080ti do I use normal pcie ports and would I be able to use my existing extension cables ?
Yes mate good psu had mine running no problem 😊 yeah you would use standard pcie ports and extension or with the psu you also get a 12vhpr cable to 2 x 8 pins if u wanted
Thanks Vinny yeah it performs amazing and tbh don't think any need to go 7000 series yet or Intel 13th gen I think I'll skip this generation tbf. Thanks mate 👍

thank you so much for showing that weird cable thing! I was pouring over page after video to try to figure out if I was missing something
No worries mate glad it helped and thanks 4 the support 👍

How hard should you push in the cable in order to connect it into the 4090? What are the chances it might break?
You just need to ensure it's gone all the way into the connector it will take a small force but nothing to much mate
what do you think? I think it looks a lot better and i can tell you it performs great!! 👍
8:37 sick i have same problem with this PSU. Those cables is a nightmare. thanks God to that middle wall in this cases.

Yeah they ate ql120 link fans looking forward to getting some and the new h150i XT link cooler too. Appreciate the support and feedback mate 👍

Thanks Ray massive jump.from 3090 to 4090 in both fps and when encoding too. Thanks as always 4 the support
You didn’t include the part where you first plugged in the sata cables…….
I think that bit is pretty easy mate sorry I misses that bit

@qud3913 I have the A100g and 850w version both work perfectly 🥰
@@TechCheckUK ty 😊
@qud3913 no problem 😊
What do you think of the psu. I'm struggling to pick an atx 3.0 for my strix 4080 torn between this msi one phanteks revolt or seasonic vertex gx-1000
I had mine 8 months now and never missed a beat. That being said you can't go wrong with any of the 3 u mentioned.
I was hoping my 850watts power supply would run a RTX4090, with no overclocking of the CPU/GPU? Your videos are better than Linus TT ones 😄
Truth is it will! I have tried BUT can't guarantee you won't get BSOD mate - I wish that was the case BTW 😉 thank u much appreciated 👍
@@TechCheckUK You just need his budget and would be miles better 😉He has to drop stuff to make it entertaining 🤣
Lol yeah he is funny when he does that. If I had a multi million budget and 50 staff it would be quite alot different but I don't so maybe one day
So I have a 850 watt power supply with a rtx4090. Model I have is a msi gaming trio non X model should work like wonders
Nice mate like I said it deffo works as I have tried it and if no OC it's fine 👍
Yup! Still looks amazing mate & hope it performs as well as you're expecting.
Happy Gaming!
I wish all cases hid the spaghetti like that one does.😂

@@TechCheckUK brilliant mate & yes, there's no point upgrading the platform until you feel that you have to. 👌👍
Exactly pal 👍
i was just wondering if i could plug this cable from my 4070ti super gpu straight into my psu ?
If your talking about the 16 pin hwpr cable yes as long as either you have an atx 3 psu or you have the 16 pin to 2 or 3 8pin pcie adaptor cable mate
@@TechCheckUK yes mate thanks alot i was just worried cuz i saw that it could have problems with melting but i have all the right parts for it
@kianharte2788 no problem 😊 👌
