When they're given almost no oversight during their shift, it's easy to find specific people who are receptive and form good relationships with them. Even if their only end goal was private entertainment, which the girl from 302 seemed to partake in, given the second warden's eagerness to accept an invite. Unless it's a regular occurrence, most guys tend to have some caution about that kind of thing. Especially those in security positions.
In this part, Ashley makes fun of her, it's cut in the video, but after Andrew asks how she gets food, the lady replies that you just have to ask nicely, then Ashley responds with "Like 'bend over and open wide' nicely?" it was not just because she was pretty lol
Fr It’s nasty 😭 I mean there are scenes I suppose that make it SEEM like they’re in a romantic relationship, Ashley definitely seems to be showing signs of emotional incest on her brother due to the lack of love from their parents, but like c’mon, they’re siblings, specifically toxic siblings so their relationship is already unhealthy. I do think Ashley was just poking fun at her brother with the incest jokes, that’s all they seemed to be, jokes, she’s already shown how toxic and manipulative she is towards Andrew and it definitely doesn’t seem like she ACTUALLY romantically loves him, just latched onto him because again..they probably didn’t have much love given to them from their parents to begin with.

Its obvious to me people who ship them did not understand the game and the message behind the siblings relationship at all.
What concerns me about this game at most is mentioned blood types and lack of care towards the others. Because of that I have 3 possibilities what could that be : an organized crime responsible for harvesting blood and selling to the black market, government facility forcing them to do this no matter what the cost for unknown reasons or something more sinister that is unknown for us by this time.
Right I think it has to do with how rare certain blood types are like theirs is ab the most common type so maybe they only care about maybe sure the rarer types are healthier to harvest and which is probably why they didn’t get supplies..messed up.

Basically what makes a monster and what makes a man, her parents are responsible for Ashley's actions, they have the power to get help for her and her brother Andrew but they decided to abandon them to inhumane testing where they mentally grew worse and worse, I don't condone what they did but I can't blame them because mentally they did what they need to survive or save the other because all they have is each other.

Ashley definitely has some sort of manipulative, attention-seeking disorder as she seems to be VERY overly obsessed with her older brother and his love life, sort of like an overbearing mother towards her child since Ashley feels that if Andrew were to find someone who loves him, then he’d leave Ashley behind and never love her again. Personally, I don't think that Ashley has romantic feelings for her brother, and actually does love him. She seems like a western yandere, since she had a gun taken from the second officer on her, and could have theoretically killed Andrew while he was choking her. Due to a lack of parental love and an already empty set of morals, she latched onto him, deciding that she was his world and that only she could be his friend and sibling, taking out anyone who might take her spot as Andrews number 1 person. And Andrew, weak willed and also lacking in love from his parents, instinctively latched onto her since she was the only one there to comfort him. Their siblings after all, he's believing that he has no one else, even going to her when his guilt is overtaking him even though he knows deep down that she can use that against him. So in all, I think this is less of a yandere sister falling for her brother, and more a morally bankrupt girl and her weak willed brother latching onto one another after years of emotional, mental and maybe physical neglect from their parents. He's her world and she's his world, they only have each other and even though their relationship is honestly one of the most toxic ones I've ever seen, they only have each other at the end of the day. And now that they've killed and committed crimes against humanity such as cannibalism, along with going through the torture of intentional starvation, they quite literally only have each other to lean against as they start their lives on the run. And the incest jokes just seemed like that, jokes. Ashley poking fun at him and twisting his words and emotions to get a small laugh and to annoy him. Edit: by the Lord y'all i noticed. It happens all the time in real life. That is some of the most interesting sibling dynamic that I wish we'd see more often in fiction. Ashley is being very manipulative, and Andrew knows this, yet it's clear that they both care for each other very much. And I don't think Ashley has a romantic interest on Andrew, even if it might seem so at first, she just seems extremely possessive and craves attention.

But Andrew may be the only one who she'll ever consider as a romantic partner. She didn't have any friends nor was she cared for by her parents. All of those roles were taken care of by Andrew, which is also the reason why Ashley reacts so agressively towards his love interests - he's her whole world and she doesn't want him to go, because that would leave her all alone. We can see that in questionable choice: Parents, Classmates, Siblings, Partners -- all those roles are taken by Andrew. It also explains why she tries to manipulate him so much - she understand that she depends on him too much, and so she tries to take leverage to prove herself useful to him, to make Him dependent on Her. The fact that the warden did not take care of these people in the apartment reminds me a lot of what happened during the quarantine in a part of my town. Many people had to be locked in their homes and a guard who guarded the whole apartment had to bring in food. The only ones who got a lot of attention and food were rich people or people who came from very high up, like politicians. My mother already had food in storage in cupboards, so to be honest we only survived because of her, we only got food twice.Many people died of starvation, especially children. Others became violent and many women died killed by their own husbands. It was awful, I never thought I would live like this one day. I guess they did it on purpose to let only rich and important people live and the others just have to fend for themselves.

Cool to see we were both on the same page with the organ harvesting ring, and I like your idea on the parents being in on it, especially given their neglect. Andrew and Ashley are in their 20s, so I'm curious to see their childhood in the new game. I talk a little bit about their relationship in my own analysis, but bascially the developer stated they are not romantic (though the developer may include it in the upcoming game). The developer stated Ashley was being manipulative using any means necessary to control Andrew (an extreme but valid case of an abuser in a codependent relationship).

I will say that this game is interesting at the standpoint. I’ve dealt with blood and gore mentioned in horror games so I’m used to that, but I get put off by the incest that the two protagonists are seemingly participating in. Their relationship most likely stemmed due to the lack of parental support causing the siblings to latch on to one another. And since their developing brains were so used to it, the toxic relationship grew and grew. From Ashley’s possessive interactions and Andrew’s reluctance to agree with her can show their emotional attachment to one another, paired with how they are practically being starved and becoming distress by the government it does make sense that their relationship grew into this way. And now that they’re on the run, they are truly the only people they have since they’ve committed crimes that they can be prosecuted for. It’s interesting for a horror game to dissect this, probably won’t come back to the game if it does get a sequel due to the fandom’s strange infatuation and support of the incest as well as their either dismissal and glorification of it. But all fandoms will have their bad apples, I probably won’t touch on it because they’re so prominent when I tried to look a bit more into the lore of the game. EDIT: I don’t know if I dissected my opinion well since I wrote this kind of late. Sorry about that!

Personally, Ashley seems rather like a prime example of a narcissist to me, that is to say someone with narcissistic personality disorder. Why? She still seems to be very much emotional, yet has an insane and warped view of the world resulting in her lack of empathy and remorse. To put it simply, the primary difference between a narcissist and psychopath is that a narcissist is a master of delusion and denial. Both are capable of toxicity and abuse, but narcissists still believe they are "good" and they care for the person they abuse. Ashley's toxic obsession with her brother is that she for instance still very much cares for her brother and needs him emotionally. A psychopath compared to that isn't delusional. They don't lack empathy or remorse out of denial, but because they just truly don't care and almost don't feel anything. Their emotions and feelings are turned all the way down. Due to this reason, psychopaths generally also won't be able to get emotionally obsessed with someone like Ashley here, as that requires strong emotions. Then again one does have to keep in mind that unlike with narcissism and Antisocial personality disorder, there's no specific definition for psychopathy that all experts agree on. Meanwhile, Andrew seems like he has emotional numbness and PTSD or perhaps C-PTSD, due to enduring years of toxic abuse by Ahsley, rather sociopathy (which is Antisocial Personality Disorder and doesn't really fit him).

Oh my, I really loved the game and explanation. Here are my thoughts: 1. First of the age. I’ve seen comments about them being in their twenties, which I don’t believe, since both of them still living with their neglecting parents and also not seeming to have any work experience, talking about finding some grunt work lightly. I assume that Ashley is 14-15 and Andrew is 17-18 and Leyley being 6-7 and Andy 9-10. (I took the guess, from how old the characters looked and acted like). Yea, but both are definitely younger that 20 2. I don’t believe that Ashley was romantically or even sexually attracted to her brother. Both seemed to be completely neglected by their parents, as Andy had to do everything for his sis and Leyley being used to it. She really seemed possessive, while Andy had a low self esteem and confidence. Due to his quiet nature, I don’t think, he had any friends. (That’s doesn’t mean, he isn’t attractive, I really liked him too^_^). But because of their parents and their situation, it’s only understandable that the sociopathic(which r btw made, but born) Ashley grew even more possessive of her brother. Even manipulating him and bringing up traumas, just so he will stay. Andrew seemed to be used to this and is probably also scared to losing her, since they only have each other. 3. I think the Lady also had blood type AB, since it was stated that she ISN’T important, but they kept feeding her, since she was pretty. 4. About a sequel… well, I don’t think that’s impossible. In fact I think he can be sure that there will be a sequel. The way it’s set up, I’m little episode, make it believe that this is not the end. In the very beginning we have episode:”find nutritions so you don’t starve” and then we have “The Coffin Of Andy And Leyley” , which is btw the title so maybe we see more of Andrew and Ashley, as it’s also an open end, with both traveling to a unknown location. Let’s hope we get an amazing sequel soon and that this project won’t be dropped like other ones. (Btw, do you guy remember Project Cat? Will it continue? You're forgetting that Andrew is the one who gives the fault for everything to Ashley. Like for example. She didn't kill the first warden, nor did she manipulate Andrew into doing it. He really was the one responsible for it, yet he did put all blame on her. She does manipulate him a lot, but far less than people and Andrew claim.
I honestly couldn't stand Ashley, I just found her so annoying and how she kept blaming almost everything on andrew. And just how manipulative she was towards, and i despise the fact that when any other girl is around. She is immediately going to the mind set that they just be offed. How andrew hasn't just offed her himself is honestly a miracle and im hoping in the future he will find good people who will give him the encouragement to leave his sister, even if it means offing her. Though I can understand him not leaving her behind or ever offing her, she is the only family she has and he has been manipulated by her from a young age. I've had family members who were manipulated by foster parents into believing that there real parent didn't want them. Though it wasn't the case, they would end up in a grave had they not been given up which the foster parents were fully aware of the situation and was told about it (the bio parent was in abusive relationship which nearly led to there own offing and the life of the children while they weren't born yet) and unfortunately they refuse to hear the true explanation because of what the foster parents did. Its also caused a lot of drama, and just ruining our mental health because of what they have done. Though luckily for us, we cut them off. Not caring if they were family, we prioritized our health first and rhey didn't really want anything to do with us to begin with

I don't think Ashley is actually in love with him, it's clear her parents are emotionally neglectful so it's likely that she just doesn't know what familial love looks like. He's one of the only people who's truly there for her so she clings onto him and drives away anyone else who might take the attention and care away from her. She doesn't have romantic feelings for him, she just doesn't know how to appropriately show familial love so she just obsessively clings to him and refuses to let go

While I highly doubt the dev was going for an Incest vibe (I agree with others like Manybadasshero that it's more of a Western Yandere and more of a Sisterly love and emotional attachment more than a romantic love), some of the scenes made me VERY uncomfortable, and made me feel way better about some of the weird stuff me and my sister have (mainly accidentally) said to eachother.
I'm hoping that in the sequel the feels inevitable, Andrew can help Ashley grt over her habit of playing the victim card and her seeming obsession of him (I hope she isn't obsessed and... ugh... In love with her brother 🤮) and the two can form a healthy sibling love of each other.
I think at this point that, that is practically impossible. Ashley is incredibly narcissistic, Andrew has practically been groomed by Ashley to be who he is today. She has been nothing but abusive towards him, and the best thing he could do now is just cut her off. So, finally form a healthy relationship.

For example, how Andrew acted in the last cutscenes of the game, pulling Ashley close and saying how they are stuck with each other, doing so with what seemed like a smile on his face. And then Ashley's idea to cook the neighbor's body could be seen as her trying to provide food for her and her brother.

They will act nice as a way to make you stay, and she been abusive to him since childhood. Even playing a massive role in the death of his friend, she been manipulating him for so long he has become an enabler of her behaviour. These moments don't mean they can share an emotional bond, as you have this sibling/western yandere thing going on.

imo i don’t think ashley has any romantic feelings for andrew. i think she has bpd and is really codependent and thinks that if he leaves her, she’ll just be left behind
I'm sure Andrew and Ashley would never think to do it because they're horrible people, but I'm a little surprised they didn't try to help anyone else get out of their apartments outside the one well-treated woman (who i don't think had o- blood, the guards just treated her well for "favours"). What i personally would have done in that situation would be go back to my apartment, chop up the cultist and maybe the wardens into ground meat, cook it into patties, and then pull the wood off each door i can get too in the building, handing out the food and encouraging everyone to leave with me, splitting up once we're outside. If they ask where the meat came from, I'd just tell them it's not as important as getting out. Time might have been a factor though. Better to get out ASAP before someone comes looking for the wardens or seeing the footage of the 2nd floor security cameras i suppose.
I do not think that Andrew is necessarily bad. Or at least, he might not have been at first. Don't forget that Andrew pretty much has been groomed into who he is by Ashley. And after the night where he was traumatised into carving up and putting the warden into the freezer, his coping mechanism jumped in and thus he reverted to that state of mind where he did his sister's bidding. Snapping out of it for a little while, till the trauma got bad enough again... Honestly: I kind off wished that in the game Ashley would go to sleep and Andrew would actually kill her. >.>;
It is shown very clearly in the game that they both care for each other very much, and Andrew knows that Ashley is manipulating him. And also Ashley is like the most interesting character in a horror game we've had in a while, so no, let's not kill her.
No matter what, Andrew has a fricked up way of thinking. I mean... he was the one who thought jumping of the balcony together with Ashley was a bad idea because turning into a bloody mess together would be too romantic
As much as i agree, Andrew and Ashley have been the only source of communication for 3 whole months. I don’t think Andrew has the heart to end his sister even after everything he’s been through. Although i would love an ending where Andrew actually kills Ashley, then we see his reaction when he realized what he has done. He’d probably have another breakdown, with nobody to help him. All alone, in a big world. Hiding from the cops forevermore.

actually they were fine from the start. Andrew had a sane mind and Ashley too. However, because they were very hungry due to parasites in their bodies, they were forced to eat hum*n flesh in the apartment next to them, who they thought were dead, in order to survive. all the bad behavior, m*rder, c4nnib4lism, sacrifices, started from a small piece of jewelry that the devil gave Ashley at the beginning of the chapter, which means the devil used them both so that he could continue to look for sacrifices, which also saved them from unwanted events. chances are, they will continue to look for sacrifices, until the action can be successfully stopped if the small jewelry given by the devil is thrown away by Ashley. Just because of this thing, Ashley, who has been acting like a real devil, always teases her brother, and that really attacks a player's mentality. I have played this game from the beginning of chapter 1 to 2, analyzing every uniqueness and presentation of the game given, this game is masterpiece. because not all dev can make games that are exactly the same as this game, and I applaud that.
i really hope Andy gets a good ending, even if there is the possibility that he does like her like that, or doesn't mind being her muscle/enabler I hope he drops it

When they're given almost no oversight during their shift, it's easy to find specific people who are receptive and form good relationships with them. Even if their only end goal was private entertainment, which the girl from 302 seemed to partake in, given the second warden's eagerness to accept an invite. Unless it's a regular occurrence, most guys tend to have some caution about that kind of thing. Especially those in security positions.
In this part, Ashley makes fun of her, it's cut in the video, but after Andrew asks how she gets food, the lady replies that you just have to ask nicely, then Ashley responds with "Like 'bend over and open wide' nicely?"

Fr It’s nasty 😭 I mean there are scenes I suppose that make it SEEM like they’re in a romantic relationship, Ashley definitely seems to be showing signs of emotional incest on her brother due to the lack of love from their parents, but like c’mon, they’re siblings, specifically toxic siblings so their relationship is already unhealthy. I do think Ashley was just poking fun at her brother with the incest jokes, that’s all they seemed to be, jokes, she’s already shown how toxic and manipulative she is towards Andrew and it definitely doesn’t seem like she ACTUALLY romantically loves him, just latched onto him because again..they probably didn’t have much love given to them from their parents to begin with.

What concerns me about this game at most is mentioned blood types and lack of care towards the others. Because of that I have 3 possibilities what could that be : an organized crime responsible for harvesting blood and selling to the black market, government facility forcing them to do this no matter what the cost for unknown reasons or something more sinister that is unknown for us by this time.

The Greeks had many words for the many types of love they viewed in the world. In this game, Ashley shows off Mania, in the sense of being obsessed with the target of this love, and in some senses, Storge, the familial love.
Ashley definitely has some sort of manipulative, attention-seeking disorder as she seems to be VERY overly obsessed with her older brother and his love life, sort of like an overbearing mother towards her child since Ashley feels that if Andrew were to find someone who loves him, then he’d leave Ashley behind and never love her again. Personally, I don't think that Ashley has romantic feelings for her brother, and actually does love him. She seems like a western yandere, since she had a gun taken from the second officer on her, and could have theoretically killed Andrew while he was choking her.
Due to a lack of parental love and an already empty set of morals, she latched onto him, deciding that she was his world and that only she could be his friend and sibling, taking out anyone who might take her spot as Andrews number 1 person. And Andrew, weak willed and also lacking in love from his parents, instinctively latched onto her since she was the only one there to comfort him. Their siblings after all, he's believing that he has no one else, even going to her when his guilt is overtaking him even though he knows deep down that she can use that against him.
So in all, I think this is less of a yandere sister falling for her brother, and more a morally bankrupt girl and her weak willed brother latching onto one another after years of emotional, mental and maybe physical neglect from their parents. He's her world and she's his world, they only have each other and even though their relationship is honestly one of the most toxic ones I've ever seen, they only have each other at the end of the day. And now that they've killed and committed crimes against humanity such as cannibalism, along with going through the torture of intentional starvation, they quite literally only have each other to lean against as they start their lives on the run.
And the incest jokes just seemed like that, jokes. Ashley poking fun at him and twisting his words and emotions to get a small laugh and to annoy him.

But Andrew may be the only one who she'll ever consider as a romantic partner. She didn't have any friends nor was she cared for by her parents. All of those roles were taken care of by Andrew, which is also the reason why Ashley reacts so agressively towards his love interests - he's her whole world and she doesn't want him to go, because that would leave her all alone. We can see that in questionable choice: Parents, Classmates, Siblings, Partners -- all those roles are taken by Andrew. It also explains why she tries to manipulate him so much - she understand that she depends on him too much, and so she tries to take leverage to prove herself useful to him, to make Him dependent on Her.
Will she love him as wife does her husband? Unlikely. But it's also unlikely she'll find someone she can trust like Andrew.

The fact that the warden did not take care of these people in the apartment reminds me a lot of what happened during the quarantine in a part of my town. Many people had to be locked in their homes and a guard who guarded the whole apartment had to bring in food. The only ones who got a lot of attention and food were rich people or people who came from very high up, like politicians. My mother already had food in storage in cupboards, so to be honest we only survived because of her, we only got food twice.Many people died of starvation, especially children. Others became violent and many women died killed by their own husbands. It was awful, I never thought I would live like this one day. I guess they did it on purpose to let only rich and important people live and the others just have to fend for themselves.

The developer stated Ashley was being manipulative using any means necessary to control Andrew (an extreme but valid case of an abuser in a codependent relationship).

There is a paper you can read in the warden cam room about organ extraction. Pretty much you nailed that organ trafficking theory
I will say that this game is interesting at the standpoint. I’ve dealt with blood and gore mentioned in horror games so I’m used to that, but I get put off by the incest that the two protagonists are seemingly participating in.
Their relationship most likely stemmed due to the lack of parental support causing the siblings to latch on to one another. And since their developing brains were so used to it, the toxic relationship grew and grew. From Ashley’s possessive interactions and Andrew’s reluctance to agree with her can show their emotional attachment to one another, paired with how they are practically being starved and becoming distress by the government it does make sense that their relationship grew into this way. And now that they’re on the run, they are truly the only people they have since they’ve committed crimes that they can be prosecuted for.
It’s interesting for a horror game to dissect this, probably won’t come back to the game if it does get a sequel due to the fandom’s strange infatuation and support of the incest as well as their either dismissal and glorification of it. But all fandoms will have their bad apples, I probably won’t touch on it because they’re so prominent when I tried to look a bit more into the lore of the game.

Personally, Ashley seems rather like a prime example of a narcissist to me, that is to say someone with narcissistic personality disorder.
Why?
She still seems to be very much emotional, yet has an insane and warped view of the world resulting in her lack of empathy and remorse.
To put it simply, the primary difference between a narcissist and psychopath is that a narcissist is a master of delusion and denial.
Both are capable of toxicity and abuse, but narcissists still believe they are "good" and they care for the person they abuse.
Ashley's toxic obsession with her brother is that she for instance still very much cares for her brother and needs him emotionally.
A psychopath compared to that isn't delusional. They don't lack empathy or remorse out of denial, but because they just truly don't care and almost don't feel anything. Their emotions and feelings are turned all the way down. Due to this reason, psychopaths generally also won't be able to get emotionally obsessed with someone like Ashley here, as that requires strong emotions.
Then again one does have to keep in mind that unlike with narcissism and Antisocial personality disorder, there's no specific definition for psychopathy that all experts agree on.
Meanwhile, Andrew seems like he has emotional numbness and PTSD or perhaps C-PTSD, due to enduring years of toxic abuse by Ahsley, rather sociopathy (which is Antisocial Personality Disorder and doesn't really fit him).

Nah, this is definitely a depiction of emotional incest. Emotional incest is awful, harmful, abusive and toxic. I just despise the community of this game for romanticizing it. The game itself does an amazing job of depicting how awful it is, but the community is basically Alabama.

Oh my, I really loved the game and explanation. Here are my thoughts:
1. First of the age. I’ve seen comments about them being in their twenties, which I don’t believe, since both of them still living with their neglecting parents and also not seeming to have any work experience, talking about finding some grunt work lightly. I assume that Ashley is 14-15 and Andrew is 17-18 and Leyley being 6-7 and Andy 9-10. (I took the guess, from how old the characters looked and acted like). Yea, but both are definitely younger that 20
2. I don’t believe that Ashley was romantically or even sexually attracted to her brother. Both seemed to be completely neglected by their parents, as Andy had to do everything for his sis and Leyley being used to it. She really seemed possessive, while Andy had a low self esteem and confidence. Due to his quiet nature, I don’t think, he had any friends. (That’s doesn’t mean, he isn’t attractive, I really liked him too^_^). But because of their parents and their situation, it’s only understandable that the sociopathic(which r btw made, but born) Ashley grew even more possessive of her brother. Even manipulating him and bringing up traumas, just so he will stay. Andrew seemed to be used to this and is probably also scared to losing her, since they only have each other.
3. I think the Lady also had blood type AB, since it was stated that she ISN’T important, but they kept feeding her, since she was pretty.
4. About a sequel… well, I don’t think that’s impossible. In fact I think he can be sure that there will be a sequel. The way it’s set up, I’m little episode, make it believe that this is not the end. In the very beginning we have episode:”find nutritions so you don’t starve” and then we have “The Coffin Of Andy And Leyley” , which is btw the title so maybe we see more of Andrew and Ashley, as it’s also an open end, with both traveling to a unknown location. Let’s hope we get an amazing sequel soon and that this project won’t be dropped like other ones. (Btw, do you guy remember Project Cat? Will it continue? I’ve still been waiting…)
So yeah, I liked the characters (especially), the atmosphere and the gameplay :D

You're forgetting that Andrew is the one who gives the fault for everything to Ashley. Like for example. She didn't kill the first warden, nor did she manipulate Andrew into doing it. He really was the one responsible for it, yet he did put all blame on her. She does manipulate him a lot, but far less than people and Andrew claim.
I honestly couldn't stand Ashley, I just found her so annoying and how she kept blaming almost everything on andrew. And just how manipulative she was towards, and i despise the fact that when any other girl is around. She is immediately going to the mind set that they just be offed. How andrew hasn't just offed her himself is honestly a miracle and im hoping in the future he will find good people who will give him the encouragement to leave his sister, even if it means offing her.
Though I can understand him not leaving her behind or ever offing her, she is the only family she has and he has been manipulated by her from a young age. I've had family members who were manipulated by foster parents into believing that there real parent didn't want them. Though it wasn't the case, they would end up in a grave had they not been given up which the foster parents were fully aware of the situation and was told about it (the bio parent was in abusive relationship which nearly led to there own offing and the life of the children while they weren't born yet) and unfortunately they refuse to hear the true explanation because of what the foster parents did.
Its also caused a lot of drama, and just ruining our mental health because of what they have done. Though luckily for us, we cut them off. Not caring if they were family, we prioritized our health first and rhey didn't really want anything to do with us to begin with

I don't think Ashley is actually in love with him, it's clear her parents are emotionally neglectful so it's likely that she just doesn't know what familial love looks like. He's one of the only people who's truly there for her so she clings onto him and drives away anyone else who might take the attention and care away from her. She doesn't have romantic feelings for him, she just doesn't know how to appropriately show familial love so she just obsessively clings to him and refuses to let go

While I highly doubt the dev was going for an Incest vibe (I agree with others like Manybadasshero that it's more of a Western Yandere and more of a Sisterly love and emotional attachment more than a romantic love), some of the scenes made me VERY uncomfortable, and made me feel way better about some of the weird stuff me and my sister have (mainly accidentally) said to eachother.

I think at this point that, that is practically impossible. Ashley is incredibly narcissistic, Andrew has practically been groomed by Ashley to be who he is today. She has been nothing but abusive towards him, and the best thing he could do now is just cut her off. So, finally form a healthy relationship.

For example, how Andrew acted in the last cutscenes of the game, pulling Ashley close and saying how they are stuck with each other, doing so with what seemed like a smile on his face. And then Ashley's idea to cook the neighbor's body could be seen as her trying to provide food for her and her brother.

They will act nice as a way to make you stay, and she been abusive to him since childhood. Even playing a massive role in the death of his friend, she been manipulating him for so long he has become an enabler of her behaviour.
And just because they share a few tender moments doesn't erase how abusive and manipulative she has been. These moments don't mean they can share an emotional bond, as you have this sibling/western yandere thing going on.

I wonder if their parents are aware of them killing that girl and that's part of the reason the left them in that apartment knowingly.
I'm sure Andrew and Ashley would never think to do it because they're horrible people, but I'm a little surprised they didn't try to help anyone else get out of their apartments outside the one well-treated woman (who i don't think had o- blood, the guards just treated her well for "favours").
What i personally would have done in that situation would be go back to my apartment, chop up the cultist and maybe the wardens into ground meat, cook it into patties, and then pull the wood off each door i can get too in the building, handing out the food and encouraging everyone to leave with me, splitting up once we're outside. If they ask where the meat came from, I'd just tell them it's not as important as getting out.
Time might have been a factor though. Better to get out ASAP before someone comes looking for the wardens or seeing the footage of the 2nd floor security cameras i suppose.

I do not think that Andrew is necessarily bad. Or at least, he might not have been at first.
Don't forget that Andrew pretty much has been groomed into who he is by Ashley. And after the night where he was traumatised into carving up and putting the warden into the freezer, his coping mechanism jumped in and thus he reverted to that state of mind where he did his sister's bidding.
Snapping out of it for a little while, till the trauma got bad enough again...

As much as i agree, Andrew and Ashley have been the only source of communication for 3 whole months. I don’t think Andrew has the heart to end his sister even after everything he’s been through.
Although i would love an ending where Andrew actually kills Ashley, then we see his reaction when he realized what he has done. He’d probably have another breakdown, with nobody to help him. All alone, in a big world. Hiding from the cops forevermore.

actually they were fine from the start. Andrew had a sane mind and Ashley too. However, because they were very hungry due to parasites in their bodies, they were forced to eat hum*n flesh in the apartment next to them, who they thought were dead, in order to survive. all the bad behavior, m*rder, c4nnib4lism, sacrifices, started from a small piece of jewelry that the devil gave Ashley at the beginning of the chapter, which means the devil used them both so that he could continue to look for sacrifices, which also saved them from unwanted events.
chances are, they will continue to look for sacrifices, until the action can be successfully stopped if the small jewelry given by the devil is thrown away by Ashley. Just because of this thing, Ashley, who has been acting like a real devil, always teases her brother, and that really attacks a player's mentality.
I have played this game from the beginning of chapter 1 to 2, analyzing every uniqueness and presentation of the game given, this game is masterpiece. because not all dev can make games that are exactly the same as this game, and I applaud that.
