Im from Ilocos but the routine was totally awesome.Ive watched several masskara festival yearly at youtube only unfortunately hehe kaht gsto ko makapanood ng LIVE...and as a choreographer/DI instructor,i was wondering kng gnu katagal to prepare a piece of costume individualy,super nakaka amazed...the choreography was excellent,spacing,dance,props(EXCEPT THE OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPH)pra walang say ang other contender dahil makikita mo kayang dalhin ng routine ung buong sayaw without a picture of them)and most of all the no.1 factor is music,madadala ka tlga nila and ung jive ng tugtog mabbgyan ka ng indak the most of it.they showcase what bacolod has to offer,thats how you dance in a festival,u inviting people to watch na tila nasa harapan mo ang buong pinas na sumasayaw.im also a fan of Brgy.Alijis way back 2006 upto now and the winner this year deserving lahat🙌👍👍👏

Alijis was the same trainor and designer to this year champion he is a legend and got 22 times champion in the history of masskara festival. Im one of performer in this group we are called team panoy. Because panoy is the famous nick name of our choreographer.

The purpose of having the faces of politics here in the dance is to showcase of what we have or in general, what the Philippines have. As you can see in some other dances of different Brgys. in Masskara Festival, they include props which have the pictures of Famous foods here in Bacolod like Piaya or Lechon Manok or famous tourist attractions like the Plaza or the City Hall because they want to show tourist that Masskara Fest is not just any Festival.It is a celebration in which the Bacolodnons went through which dates back to history. So in order to let pple that watch the dance know what is our culture they use pictures of our Mayor or Our President. Be open minded nlg bi guys, kita2 nlg gd di nga mga Bacolodnons ma inaway pata, I know i will be attacked tungod nag comment ko sg amo sini but sinyo nana kung ano patihan niyo, basta ako ya halin sg una gaka notice ko gd na nga wala gd gaa dula kada saot sg masskara ang pictures sg piaya,plaza kag ni Mayor Bing. I love the music though the choreo was not really great.. I think they could’ve dance better than this however they’ve chosen the choreo that allowed them to sustain their energies all throughout the day from street dancing to their final performance. I hate to say this but Brgy. 18 had awesome choreography but the music was worst.

I wonder why Tangub did not bag the best in choreography award? B18’s choreo was good but not as spectacular as last year. Their music is not as lively as tangub’s that jives with the choreo, props and costume. I was rooting for tangub to win best in choreography. Though, i couldn’t agree more on one of the comments, that the pic of politicians ruined the essence of the concept. Nevertheless, Congrats Tangub! Well-deserved champ!
