I am from Vijayawada and I had visited the temple some time back. I think it around 12 noon I reached the temple and he was entering into his quarters in the temple and I had requested for opening the gates so that I can touch swamy ‘d feet. In spite of my personal request he had not obliged who is young priest Then I had moved to lord shiva temple and offered prayers. The priests should be flexible as people come from long distances
This Lakshmi Ganapathi temple is truly special to us as this Ganapathi was a Swayambhu found right in our maternal grandfather's farm land which is now belongs to my pina thalli garu, Sri Chundru Veerraghvamma garu. When we were very young we used to pray to this Lord especially during exam times. At that time Swami stood alone in an open field without a temple. Though some people spin this temple history to be different but this is the truth. I believe this temple land where this mighty Gananatha residing is still belongs to our aunt. As for the Lord, he is a very special one for all our family members who are most of them living in USA. Every time we visit Bikkavolu we will not miss visiting and offering our prayers to Swami. Come visit Bikkavolu and experience the bliss of Lord Lakshmi Ganapathi.
