In fact she did attend the coronation party just a bit later. But prior to the contest she was not feeling so well and after the crowning Cathy said she went back to the hotel room and rested on the bed for quite some time until her head ache went .Afterwards she got dressed and went to the coronation ball !!!!************************* I REMEMBERED WHEN I WAS A CHILD ABOUT 6 YEARS OLD IN PRIMARY SCHOOL WHEN THE ENTIRE JAMAICA WAS CELEBRATING CATHI'S 4TH PLACE FINISH. It's not hard to believe that she would be upset and acted it out. she was a big favorite and her expectations were high as were the expectations Jamaicans. Cathy's excuse seem a bit too convenient (first I'm hearing it). 🤔 The press at the coronation ball in 83 did report that Eric Morley didn't appreciate Miss Jamaica's absence and out of spite announced the other girls in top 7 from 6th to 4th leaving everyone to conclude that Jamaica was 7th.

Cathy would never ever lie, she did in fact attend the Coronation ball, but first she had gone back to her hotel room and rested a little and then got changed into a new dress where she later attended the Ball and even congratulated the winner **** INSPITE OF HER NOT WINNING SHE DID SOME GREAT THINGS IN JAMAICA FOR THE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, SHE WAS INTO THE PERFORMING ARTS as she said in the Miss world contest she was into, SHE FOUND "THE LITTLE PEOPLE", A PERFORMING ARTS ENSEMBLE.THEN SHE FOUNDED "CATHY LEVY AND THE TEEN PLAYERS".JUST RECENTLY THE JAMAICAN GOVERNMENT AWARDED HER FOR HER CONTRIBUTIONS IN MUSIC AND THEATRE !!!
