    As a Czech, I have to agree that kofola tastes really better than cola and was originally created under the previous regime as an alternative to cola, but it is still slightly different because the base called KOFO is always mixed for the whole season, so Kofola may have slight variations in taste according to the nature of the seasonal weather and fruit ripening. The syrup consists of 14 herbal and fruit substances (apples, cherries, currants,…). even licorice is the content of kofola. 😉

      That is so interesting! Thanks so much for taking the time to tell us more about kofola. We really enjoyed it and miss drinking it since we left Czech 🍻

    This is czech republic - you get to any village by public transport - there must be ,by the law, a public transport connection to any settled place

      There are villages where you still have to walk 5 km to train or bus. :-)

    • @johnnygomez7063
      @johnnygomez7063 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Pidalin NOT true! there is a bus or train connection to every village itself - given by the law! ( if there is any settlement far away of the village itself in the middle of nowhere deep in the mountines up on the hill far from the main village - it can be a walk - but there is a public transportation to every village by the law = there is bus stop in every village on the main road - or train station by the village)

    • @Pidalin
      @Pidalin 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johnnygomez7063 Public transport connections are ordered by region, if region or city doesn't order it from some transport company, then there is no connection. Show me how you get for example from Malovidy (near to Rataje nad Sázavou), the nearest train stop is not so far, but it's not walkable, there is old forest path which is not usefull today, so other option is walk 5 km to Rataje and there is many of such exmaples. You can have train or bus stop only 1.5 km away, but sometimes there is no way how to get there. There is one another stop (Rataje - Iváň, but you have to change train in Rataje, it goes nowhere, so walk directly to Rataje is still better, so you have train or bus stops not so far, but very often it's useless.

    • @johnnygomez7063
      @johnnygomez7063 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Pidalin haha its funny - I was in this village called Malovidy today due to my project - right now got back home. This village is a shithole in the middle of nowhere in the end of the road deep in the river valley with few houses - when going down by my car I met a road cleaning car and and an older guy going from the bus station up on the edge of the valley down to the village. OK its more less about 300m (NOT 5 Km) to the nearest bus stop - but the road down the valey is in the forest and it was clearly visible that the trees are falling down accros the road very often - its dangerous even for the cars (the road itself is in a pretty good condition) ... Many non important shitholes /=villages/ like this one are served by public transport like this - from the neerest crossroad bus stop in walkable distance to the tini little shithole village.

    What I like about Czech public transportation is that when you buy train ticket, they give you ticket and change back literally on that ticket in like 3 seconds, compare that to other countries where they have all trains with mandatory seat reservation and ticket is connected to specific train, you are buying ticket 10 minutes then, like in Poland for example. But be careful about bus drivers, they cheat you very often, they can give you kid ticket (half price) and put money to his pocket or something like that, that happened to me many times.
    BTW, there can be pretty cold in Zlín even in summer, I almost died by cold there too, it was in july early at morning, I had only T-shirt and as a Praguer, I really didn't expect there can be such cold in july. :-D
