I got to talk to him for a bit before a BoO show and I asked him about his solo album since he’s been teasing it for a while, and he told me it was coming within a month or so and to expect something very soon. That was back in late July of this year. He’s such an awesome guy, and an unbelievable musician!

I think a lot of cool catchy riffs go unnoticed these days because we've been born into a world of metal needing to be faster and faster to be cool, but i think the speed limit has been hit many times. yes it can always be faster, but that doesn't make it better anymore.
The song is still fast, but its not like solid note kick drum speed tones going on.
Some patterns are just bangers that work, and its really hard to make catchy music of any kind.
When you have 1 note only and the pattern of it is catchy, ...you have yourself a banger!
