102 year old and a terrific watch. Very tough life, trap, catch food or starve. Smiling laughing kids, clearly happy and playing the same snow games as we did. I hope many people view and appreciate this film.
Eskimo & Kalahari Bushmen are the top two peoples whom are beyond incredible survivalist's with unparalleled awesome resource management skills that must be revered...!
This is the real deal. No pretends in this movie, what you see is what you get. They worked and pulled together as a team or they wouldn’t survive. Modern man wouldn’t survive the harsh conditions that they prospered through. Thanks for the amazing video!
Bet Nanook's descendants could use some of the royalties due him from Klondie ice cream bars and other uses of his likeness. Yea, happy go lucky. Didn't know he was 'giving' a commodity away; apparently no one to give him better advice.
When I was 9 years old in the Oregon wilderness two miles from no where I came around a corner in the trail and found myself standing toe to toe with a black bear. Some day I'll have to write a story about it but now at 73 years old that story may never get written.
I mean even the poor people of frozen northernmost land of the world couldn’t have got away from Anglophone invaders. I don’t know what to think anymore 😂

They are so happy and at one with nature....just goes to show.....this is civalization... not modernity.

They didn't get sick? No heat and sometimes remove theirs cloths. No cold flu shots.
I remember this from kindergarten 60 something years ago.
It’s no accident they are happy people.
What ever happened to these people and someone should go check on this family.
The movie was made in 1922.
Nanook is Eskimo for polar bear.
I would of liked to see him kill a polar bear with his harpoon by hand.... This is interesting but to harsh a life for me...✌🏼
No WOKE here....amazingly grateful of the little I have. Thank you
He wears Polar bear pants...!
