Human level? What is up with the nonsense fad of people using so low a sensitivity that you need to turn their chair to look left/right? I know the 3600 that I game with is 'high', but all you weirdos using 3-digit numbers are crazy.
@@Prophes0r What does dpi have to do with anything? Everyone adjust their sense ingame anyway, and 3 digit dpi like 400 and 800 are usually gamers that play fps games like CS:GO where a lot of pros used that dpi, and players like that generally use a bigger mouse pad so they can use more of their forearm to do big movements and wrist for more precise movement.
@@silentreaper1000 DPI is a ratio, and applies to many things depending on the context. When referring to the optical sensor, DPI is the resolve resolution. This describes the precision. The eyes will stay shut after death for a few hours. Then, as the body loses moisture, the eye lids will pull back some. obviously this could be upsetting to the family of the deceased, hence eye caps
These two are one of my favorite duos in the yogscast. The chemistry and the constant roast war between them is endlessly entertaining. Also, it's always a fun guessing game whether or not Lydia's gonna end up violently ill by the end of the video.
13:40 interesting point lyds, as someone who has nocturnal lagophthalmos, i have a lot of knowledge about this. the natural state of the eyelid is closed, and small muscles in your face controlled by one of your major brain nerves ensure a complete closure of the eye when in a relaxed state. however, people who have lagophthalmos, like myself, have a form of facial paralysis or nerve paralysis where either the small muscles in your face or the major brain nerve which controls them does not work properly. this means someone can be unable to close their eyes entirely at the worst, and at the best it might mean you just cant KEEP them closed, or it's a strain on your face to do so. with nocturnal lagophthalmos like i've got, i sleep with my eyes open, so i have to use eye gel/ointment to keep them moisturized at night as well as surgical tape to physically shut them. however, my normal blinking is generally unaffected.

Ugh yes, more,, please! A dynamic duo only slightly less iconic than their respective duologies with Ben and Bouphe! I saw a clip of Lydia with the goggles and raced to see this.
15:20 - griping about limited inventory space Tom: That's part of being a mortician right? Lyds: Yeah you've only got two hands. But you're a mortician. Do you /have/ to be limited to two hands? Think of the opportunities. 🖐🖖👁👄👁🤚👍
15:55 "They don't do that with everybody do they?" No, not everyone is embalmed. I'm not an expert but I believe embalming is a much more common thing in the US. Embalming preserves the body so it gives you more time to get all the funeral arrangements sorted and have people travel cross country for it without having to rush to get it all done within a day or two. But it's also for aesthetic reasons so you can have a viewing without having to see a shriveled decaying version of your loved one and instead can see them made to look like they're almost just sleeping. If you don't want a viewing and/or have a quick funeral, then there's no need for the embalming.
@@DjDolHaus86 It is, I dunno why we do it. It's probably supposed to be cathartic, saying goodbye, but who needs to go through that pain and creepiness? Its creepy. So glad my family has the sense to avoid the practice when someone passes. Too much trauma
@@KuueenKumi I certainly can't speak for everyone, I know I'm not an emotional person but I didn't feel any differently about those who I'd seen following their passing (ie. I dunno, maybe it's different to others but for me gone is gone, I don't need to see the evidence to begin the process of mourning.
Even if you have a viewing and an open casket, you still don’t need to be embalmed-unless there’s a delay of more than a few days. And as far as I’m concerned, embalming makes the person look like a wax figure and is creepy. Highly recommend the Ask A Mortician channel for lots of info on embalming vs natural.
Just gonna say the book Stiff has all sorts of interesting info about dead bodies and mortuary work and decomposition. Fascinating read if you're even vaguely interested.
Closing the eyes of a recently deceased person in a non professional sense is typically done for the benefit of those nearby, it's bad enough having to be near a corpse without their lifeless eyes staring out. The two pennies on the eyes are to pay the ferryman to take them to the afterlife.
15:50 yes Lyds this is what happens when embalming. Each time. And if it only takes less than a minute you’re badly under embalmed, just a game.. but then Tom coming in with legit autopsy knowledge surprised me at 16:20.
@@FrostedCreations Fair not everyone gets embalmed. I guessed she was asking if the blood comes out each time a person is embalmed. Blood should always come out when embalming correctly.

Normal people: lowers the mouse sensitivity to a human level
Tom: makes Lydia wear stupid goggles

Lydia to Tom: “who are you, so wise in the ways of science?”

"Never trust anyone that has two first names." - Tom Clark
PARADOX DETECTED!!!
I will _never_ tire of how brutally Tom & Lydia roast the everliving hell out of each other amidst their commentary. Truly a spectacular duo dynamic.
I believe Simon and Tom did the same to each other every vid they were in?
Not being mean but is tom like... 30% dyslexic?
Truly, they are like two best friends…. Or is this just how my ‘friends’ and I treat each other?
I love when we get Lyds gracing us with her presence. Lets rock and / or roll.
Not ten minutes into the video and Lydia is already talking about huge “Granny Knockers”. This is the content I am here for!

Jesus Christ on a bagel that's horrible
It takes a couple hours before you can shut the eyes though
Lydia wearing those children x-ray goggles so she can see past the spookums
Can...can we just talk about Lydias absolute unit of a water tankard at 2:17?? Absolute hydration.
She doesn't trust her nephrons smh

Unless you live in the US then the building is called a bar
What about if you are in a tiny country town that can't afford multiple buildings?
Can’t forget about forensic pathologists and us lowly morgue technicians
Excellent analogy, thank you.
Tom playing horror games with different Yogs is one of my favourite things to watch.
YES! This is gonna be good!
[edit] OMFG those glasses are class. Great look, Lyds!
I fucking love Lydia’s goggles.
They look so dumb they’ve come back around to being cool.
Love when Tom plays spooky games with guests, I need more Simon/Lydia/Boba and anyone else really playing games with Tom!
Alex Rambler too!
Didn't see Lyds in the thumbnail and was thinking how this would've been a great game to play with her. Thankfully, the video didn't disappoint!

I LOVE Lydia's new glasses, such a statement piece

Want to see more of this. Can't wait for it to turn into an absolute disaster with you two at the helm.
And here I thought the treat for the night was my Dairy Queen blizzard but NO, it's these two legends playing a game together! ❤️

Lydia was right the glasses were indeed a sexy surprise!
Always like the "Spooky Times with Tom & Guest". Lydia being the best guest of course.
