How to GUARANTEE that you see my content first:

Yeah, I'm sure many channels care about their subscribers and receiving views - all that. But Optimus seems like a genuinely honest and straight-forward guy who doesn't hide behind bullshit and sugarcoat everything. He's not following each and every trend for a wider audience, and that I can respect.

According to the sidebar, I'm at 587.
I hope Amazon goes ahead with their video platform to compete with TH-cam. I love TH-cam but as you say, they need to realize they are not invincible and eventually they will have to take creators seriously.

Man before TH-cam had Ads it was LIIIIIIT. Pranks was real, the gaming community wasn’t full of sellouts and people spoke their own opinion without worrying about sponsors. All in all it was just fun to be here and it was a lot funnier lol.
the early days of youtube was fantastic, so much creativity and individuality. now its just the same thing over and over again.
I remember my childhood, watching TH-cam back in 2010-2013, watching the rise of channels like raywilliamjohnson, and signing the petition to un-terminate stampylongnose, watching the rise of montage parodies and the fall of ytps, and many other memories, good or bad (but mostly good).
TH-cam is REALLY becoming like television and it's going to die like one too.

To be fair, your new videos, always show up on my suggestion feed and sub feed. They noticed that I like to watch your videos more than once, so you're easily in my top 5-10 promoted channels of the 500 I subbed to.

I really do miss OG TH-cam. It seems so long ago. Although I know that we will probably never return to that state, I hope TH-cam realizes that the things they are doing aren't really helping.

I got this strange thing with youtube that they are promoting my videos to myself. Like after streaming for 4 hours and then TH-cam puts it into my feed box and tells me I missed out on my own stream... LIKE BRO! NO!
I just wish TH-cam could fix their problems and just get on with it. Also there have been a new type of ads on videos that gets the videos taken down... it's very strange case of ad problems.
Either way... keep up the good work as another content creator I wish you luck in the future.

i dont use subbox i use recommendations. This is how i see all the new and sometimes old videos of my favorite youtubers and find new ones. This is also how i can find random funny videos to watch. I watch an incredible amount of youtuber and this is how. I love just random videos thats based on what I like. Although I have noticed that my favorite channel, videogamedunkey has his videos have less bad words and swears which is opposite to what he used to do due to probably demonitization but he is still extremely funny, and he never mentioned this. Its a crazy issue. TH-cam is pretty much half my day and i hope that this will be fixed because id have troubke living without youtube lol. Its that awesome

I have been subbed since "Will We See A New Counter-Strike?" (This was uploaded on May 5, 2018) and I haven't seen a notification to your channel since "'Johnny Johnny' Needs To Be Stopped" That was uploaded on Sep 4, 2018. Now, look at the date of this comment.
Bluedrake42 did pretty much the same thing. He made his own site and I believe has said he is willing to host other content creators on it. He also made his own notification system for his subs on TH-cam that is external. Basically it monitors his channel and whenever he uploads a video it sends out a notification to all the people who went to the external notification system and subed there, meaning TH-cam can't mess with that and censor his content from his subs anymore.

TH-cam seems to be destroying itself I was introduced to this by Eli the computer guy he has entirely left TH-cam except for the occasional advertisement stream for his other businesses, just letting people know of a channel that goes into much more depth on why TH-cam is making these decisions and what TH-cam is trending towards in the future with each of the recent changes and issues that have happened so if you want to see why someone would leave TH-cam then watch some of Eli the computer guys videos on it(the early ones are more focused on TH-cam)

What I find even more annoying than suggesting a video I've already seen. Is when TH-cam keeps suggesting a video I've already thumbs downed. Especially when using the music app. I can't count the number of times I've re-thumbs downed Jimmy Hendrix 's "Foxy Lady" only to have it reappear 30 or 40 songs later. Oh, he likes Electro Swing, K-Pop, & Bro Step, then he must love 1960s Psychedelic Rock. Arrrgh!

so I take it the site is in the early stages, I recommend adjusting the body to be different color from the borders, as to make it the main focus and define it from the rest of the screen, I created an example, link will be in reply because I don't know if youtube would block the link, or not. Anyways it's a minimalist example, and despite knowing html fairly well I haven't worked with it heavily for about a year, this is just what I think when looking at the site

TH-cam died when lets plays became a thing in my book.

I then forgot about it until today when I stumbled upon to this vid, thought the creator was nice and decided to sub, only to find that I already had subbed.

I subbed with putting on the button and i never know who has a new video. Even with the people who have more subs. Your content is amazing and it makes me upset when i cant watch it when your talking about youtube or games or anything really.
I do miss 07tube. I would have videos in my watch later from back then if TH-cam didn't delete them after a while. I wanted to use that playlist as a sort of time capsule to look back at old stuff I watched and found interesting; sadly I can't really do that; it only goes back to a certain point since I had so many videos in there and it can only have 1000 :(
This really sucks, because there are youtubers I really like, some are small ones that I really wanna see them succeed. The video itself is great.
The occasional button has been on mobile since 2016. Once you subscribe you’re put on occasional but if you press the button you have the choice of none or all.
A youtuber named Emplemon made a video about how TH-cam used to be very good and how TH-cam completely ruined this website and his video got censored along with the rest of his channel

TH-cam auto unsubs me from channels I actually watch (Strategy Games (Drew Durnil, iSorrowProductions...)) and auto subs me to fortnite fails channels (only Fortnite I actually watch is in Optimus' videos like this)

So I have over 900 subscriptions. Yeah, I know. I have almost as many subscriptions as subscribers. I decided to turn on notifications for EVERY SINGLE ONE. Needless to say, I got about 50 notifications the first day, and then the same-ish on the next day... and then it "mysteriously" started calming down.
I signed up for notifications from 900 people, TH-cam. More than 15 of them upload per day, TH-cam. Why'd it work the first couple of days but not now? What changed?
I hope it's just a software issue. If so, I wish I knew how to fix it. I'd be quite dedicated because I know people dislike the issue greatly.
One upon a time there was a thing called RSS. Do you remember? You go there and you have the entire internet on your fingerprint and if you see something you can watch/read now or read later. Google killed that and now they are trying to replace that with notifications, which is impossible. Notification need attention now. If you look at the notification it will be dismissed. You can't mark a notification as unread, you can't keep it for later. Notification are immediate. Its now or never. Can't save for later. Then they added notifications of TH-cam by email. Its unorganized and people don't like, mark as spam.
They are struggling to bring back something that worked perfectly.
I still use RSS and I NEVER EVER had any problems into not seeing a video of a channel I like. NEVER. I have over 100 things to see a day and if I'm not in the mood to see now, I won't lose it. I can't save, favorite, comment on it, organize on folders. Its perfect.
Now guess what? On Android Oreo, google is adding the possibility to snooze a notification. They are trying to fit RSS features into a stupid simplistic notification system. Google has this need to standardize everything, and hardly something works for all kinds of content. TH-cam sucks but it won't go anywhere. You might want that but it won't, because 99% of other video websites can't stream as fast and reliable as TH-cam does.
