I'm still waiting to see this in the UK. I visited John Lewis to speak with the Bose representative, but unfortunately, he didn’t have any information on a possible release date here. I really think Bose could use a new Wave system-a model with robust connectivity, powerful, clear stereo sound, and a big presence. The market is filled with small mono speakers, and while brands like Bose, JBL, and Sonos all do them well, there’s a gap for something truly remarkable. It feels like Bose has been resting on its laurels, while companies like Ruark and Cambridge Audio are leading in this space. Why does Bose seem focused on smaller, incremental releases, letting others dominate where they once excelled? We all know Bose can do it. Their current soundbars are great, their current little wireless speakers are great too. They just don't want to do a Wave like system anymore.
When Bose pioneers a field, the industry changes to imitate it's success, and then people call upon BOSE to create something "groundbreaking" so that it becomes the standard ( but never the Bose quality) later for most companies. I noticed the pattern after the soundlink mini and how many Copycats came after that. Same with the Revolve , Flex , Wave Radio, S1 Pro, L1, etc etc...
