    I owned this EXACT bike back in 1993. I called it "ketchup and mustard" because in addition to the bright red and yellow frame... I added even more red and yellow accessories LOL.

    I'm a big fan of the Deathgrips myself and seeing them on your bike just proves that they are so good...hope you enjoy them as much as I do and wish you fun riding this cool Ferrari-red machine 👍

      @@2NDLIFEBIKES I also like that they are available flangeless and with flange, you can just pick what fits best to the bike without compromising on the style.

    Nice! I just picked up a 97’ F700 delta Volvo in the same color. Head Shok is shot but will try and refurbish it with new internal parts I found on eBay. …🤙🏽

    bike looks cool!! those other rigid forks look pretty good as well, hopefully you can use em on another build! thx for chucking the shook / shok stickers on :D haha

    Wouldn't be forcing the headset in an alloy frame unless you want a cracked headtube, engineer would turn it down a little on a lathe

    I usually dont like red. That yellow makes it pop. Great restore.

    They sell shims that let you use a regular head set and just fill in the small gap

      @@2NDLIFEBIKES i started to convert my own old specialized mtb in a fast gravel and I would like to make it faster in city. I was thinking to change gears.. at the moment ive got stimano 3x6.. what do you reckon that i can change and is not gonna be really expensive but its gonna improve my bike performance ?

    Lighter fluid and tissue does the trick for the sticky stuff near head tube 👍
