The beauty of stickers is that you can't get in trouble for graffiti. Anyone can just peel it off, but if you sticker is good looking, hopefully no one will. You can express your creativity without breaking the law, and that's pretty cool. I know a guy named Dave Warnke who's got stickers all over the world, because other took his design and spread it. I think that's pretty cool.
I don’t understand why ur all hating. The video was super straight forward he mentioned the names of the company’s the names of the material and showed how to laminate them. Although I would like to know how he printed them but he probably made a video on that too. Overall nice video don’t understand all the hate 👍🏼
@HybirdFusion theres adhesive on the back of the vinyl. You peel it off just like any other sticker. All the over laminate does is just make the stickers more shinny and look nice as well as preserves them against water and harsh weather.
hey I am pretty new to making stickers I have been doing it by hand and kind of getting over it do you use adobe illustrator to make your designs and if so can you please reply what model you use cs2 or any of those it would much appreciated thanks and cool video by the way.
Yo g can u go more into detail about how you made ur bomb and the detail u added to them. Wat program did u use? This will b helpful. Sick slaps by the way.. Hit me bak up
-Heads up- I followed this tutorial, bought the vinyl sheets (which have a removeable thing that reveals the sticky side) and the laminate sheets. The problem with it is that the vinyl he reccommended does not stick well to anything, and if I do get it to stick it comes off after a few days. Anyone know a better brand?
I've tried this too a couple of times last year. I just took a normal sticker.... a friend of mine works with sticker advertising and such so I can get as much as I want. I just cut a decent piece of sticker so that it fits good in the printer... a good laser printer works just fine. I started with just black, works like a dream if you don't have laminate, screw it, no one is going to start scratching off the ink aand it's pretty hard to do after a day or so.
Thanks for putting the video back up (now finally works again) ... I sent you a message in BigCartel (dont know if you saw it since I haven't gotten a reply) but thanks
can you use brown (18x A4 Brown Kraft Sticker Paper Sheet Self Adhesive Label Laser Inkjet Printer) i found it on ebay, its basically just the same as what you used just brown. Will it work? Thanks.
You can use any program that lets you paint or edit photos to make the stickers. Any printer will work. Get the right paper for the right printer. IE: Ink or laser jet. Cost for 10 sheets is $12 for the paper, and $12 for the UV laminate. Use the waterproof white vinyl and waterproof UV laminate. I make vinyl stickers for myself and others, and only use Papilio paper and UV laminate. They will last 3-5 years on your car, open to the elements of snow, rain, and sun.
just noticed today one of mine sticker was smudged from rain. thanks for the vid. its a good solution. i might try a clear spray lacquer instead though.
OK... 1. got to your local post office and pick up some first class stickers 2. put your hand, throwie, whatever on them 3. get up 4. who gives a shit how long they last? if you're not stayin up, we'll forget about you anyway
||THINK|| I am liking your tutorial Bro. imma give this a try Next paycheck. Imma need to buy a printer with that kind of paper and laminate (If that's how you spell it). I have a few pieces of my art I'd like to make into Stickers and this tutorial is what will probably work for me. =)
+Prince Virginia well I made some really nice looking stickers out of paper and packing tape like an hour after I commented that, so maybe I can put some cheap products that I already have together to make something nice
Great video, and awesome looking stickers. I have a couple of question for you friend. Are you selling all those stickers? Do you find it to be profitable? What type of printer do you need? Can they be easily be removed once placed on a surface and reattached elsewhere?
I love the enthusiasm in his voice :)
