It was great seeing Air Head who you met on the trail! I hiked with him and a couple from Switzerland for awhile from before the Virginia Triple Crown and up to
Daleville.Sorry to hear about your falls!! I also fell fairly often. I have a partially numb right foot due to a herniated disc about 8 years ago. I never had any problems until I tried to hike the AT
this year but I think it was the cause of a majority of my trip/falls which always seemed to be due to the right foot. I decided to end my hike after 816 miles. Overall I enjoyed my hike but felt it was too dangerous for me to continue- I have multiple scars on both arms and one leg that will always remind me of my AT hike (the good, the bad and the ugly, haha). I’ll be praying for your safety and successful completion of your through hike! God Bless.

Well that was a very eventful day hiking with the falls and spiritual issues. You came out the other side just a little damaged but ok.
