We felt like we were in a scene straight out of Game of Thrones when we approached this castle, and especially when we walked on top of the wall. Come along and see why!
I think I commented before, you forgot the second main attraction of Coburg: those absolutely delicious and delirious Coburger Rostbratwürste grilled on pine cones …
Glad you guys went there before Corona. I found your video, after watching a documentary about Prince Albert. That was his castle. England screwed that guy over.
I believe what we said was that it felt like we were in the game of thrones because of the bleak, freezing, snowy weather on the upper ramparts. There is no actual connection the the GoT. Thanks for watching!
Nice video (like your others I just watched :D )! Coburg may be one of the bigger castles, but not the largest. There are others like Burghausen which are bigger I believe. Fun fact: Coburg was never taken by a military force, but one time they faked a letter and made the defenders believe they were ordered to hand it over to the "attackers". ;)

You missed the most important Coburg specialty: the famous Coburg Rostbratwurst. Best sausage in the world!!
How amazing is that castle!!! Wow! And I also believe Victoria was a Coburg somewhere down the line, because wasnt Albert her cousin?
Yes! The current royal family has a lot of German in their bloodline.

12.000 years ago is not correct!!! 1.200 years will do. (at 3:03)
You miss the monument to those who died during the Great War.😔
I will have to look for it next time we’re there. Thank you for telling me about it.
