My thoughts about the “Games That I Beat” videos are the same-they’re a saving grace for being able to talk about all of the smaller games. I really like the sound of expanding some discussions to 2 guests. You’d be a good moderator if you wanted to sit back, and I know that you’d also do well keeping things organised if all 3 people were to take part in the discussions.
I like the sound of you doing reviews for older games if that’s what you need to keep things from getting stale or if you’re concerned about burning out. You have a unique perspective since you didn’t grow up with some of the classics, and you appreciate them rather than trying to exploit them in cheap ways for views or laughs. Lots of channels that “go back to the past” just clown on the obviously outdated aspects of the games.

To me, Games I Beat is more about my annual stats and patterns and archiving those. Documenting my thoughts on some of the games is nice but that video format is not ideal as much time elapses in between the video and the credits of earlier games.
I'd look at my role as more of a facilitator. I don't want to just host guests, I want to be a part of it as well. If that's not happening, those two people might as well just collaborate on their own.
Okay, thanks for letting me know. Classics are ranking well so far as a popular vote so I can give it a try.

I agree with you -on turning games into a chore or routine. I try to play games Im interested in but sometimes I feel like I need to rush through a bunch so I can discuss more with people online.
Keep doing what you've been doing. I Like all your various videos because of your personality bro 👍

For sure! Even the number of games other people beat on here can be staggering. As I play through more games though, there's less games I feel like I need to play.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll keep being my most personable self!

    Hiya Majora T!
I totally get what you mean about feeling compelled to play a game without the intent of using it for TH-cam content!
I try my hardest to play a game or two without TH-cam in mind haha. It's so easy to get sucked into content creating that many people forget to have fun with games outside of it 👌
NES games are always a blast for me haha. Reviewing the games is always a safe bet 👌👌

      Howdy OmegaAce!
It's cool to think back to what gaming was like pre-TH-cam and social media. It fascinates me that younger generations won't know what that was like! I wonder how feasible it is to experience games in that way nowadays.

im glad you like the idea i suggested about having 3 people on a Majora T cast as i think it can make for some more fun and funny content and discussion
i think NES game videos are more interesting as a lot of them are not huge time sink games for the most part and there is a way bigger variety to play. where Rareware your more limited with the games especially after microsoft buying them and i know you already done tons of Rareware stuff with the button mappers where even with NES there is still lots of games that could be interesting to hear you talk about that was not in NES month.
as for my favorite type of content, i love the podcast stuff/streams also the random Q&A's were fun.

The issue with Turbo Throwdown for me is that it's all SEGA games, it's better when it isn't SEGA games, I don't really watch them at all for that reason.
Take the idea of Turbo Throwdown and do it solo with games from more companies than just SEGA.
That way Alex doesn't have to have the same game as you.
Maybe Alex can do solo ones too.
    That is my suggestion.
I get that having 2 people on helps add some contention but sometimes it's better for one person to weigh things up.
I suppose you can have the whole "throwdown" thing be something you can have guests do with you who have the game besides having to rely on Alex being with you all the time, you're already doing content with him on the button mappers so why do you need to have him be there on turbo throwdown as well?

It’s Alex and I or it isn’t a Turbo Throwdown. If another guest wants to do a vs match with me, I a definitely open but it will be its own segment. It’s a series that we created and I want to respect that. We definitely will branch out past SEGA but we will also see our current season through.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts / feedback.

You already talked about the two series that I enjoy the most Turbo and NES reviews, I am curious if you would consider Indie reviews (newer small games) but hey I’ll watch anything and everything 👍.

I’ve actually been playing more indie games lately; I even beat Kaze earlier today and have Indivisible on deck! But for now I sort of want to separate them from video content and play them as I see fit. I like the idea though :)

@@Majora_T oh Im playing through Kaze myself and … not enjoying it as much as others …. I question some of the level designs but still a well made platformer ( that feels unbalanced to me at times).
Now indivisible is also a challenging platformer (and RPG) but that is a game I really like.

Are you interested in playing Dragon Quest Builders 1 or 2 for the Switch?

Builders 1, not so much. I've dabbled in it before and it was fine.
2 though looks to have notable improvements.
