GRAIL has developed the Galleri test, which is a blood test that can detect over 50 types of cancer. The Galleri test should complement routine screenings. Visit www.galleri.com/ for more information.
BTW - most thyroid cancers are never lethal - around 20% of us will die WITH thyroid cancers (as found at autopsy) - but very few OF thyroid cancer. So be very very careful with unproven tests such as these...
Absolutely love this subject… I get a liquid biopsy every three months. The companies name isTEMPUS. When I was first, diagnosed with stage four breast cancer, they sent my biopsy out to a different company which showed the mutations that I have.. This helps with the targeted therapy that they put me on… Which I was taken off lol because it was too toxic and even though I’m stage four, it’s very very early stage four… My grades were all 1. And I’m ER PR positive. very slow growing. So I’m just on letrozole, which is working well! I’ve been on it since 2021… I get a CT scan every six months but the liquid biopsy is really what they rely on because I don’t present in the normal way. My cancer did not show up through an MRI the same year I was diagnosed with stage four also, I don’t show a pet scan or a bone scan for having bone mets I only show in a CT.. my tumors I have three that tested positive one of the lymph node one in each breast, and they were under 2 cm. My bone mets they say look like peppering in the bones so they’re hard to see. So my doctor really relies on the liquid biopsy to see any changes ever since I started treatment my liquid biopsies show no evidence of disease in my blood versus when I first started, which showed .2 and .3 in my blood for both mutations. So this topic really means a lot to me. I’m so glad that you have all this great information. It really is truly a game changer for watching cancer! And I think it’s just going to continue to get better according to my oncologist where at some point maybe I can just get a scan once a year! Thank you again.❤
Many cancers if not most or all respond better to ketogenic diet or better yet carnivorous diet and avoiding omega 6 fats like in chicken and pork. Just look for the testimonials. Better tolerance and better chance of everything.
our patient is at 4 stage breast cancer the cancer has spread in liver and body she is young and her position is serious no doctor is ready to cure her in this position plz plz what should i do we are from Pakistan
Beatstime, I'm just a nurse (RN), so I am just sharing sime thoughts with you, not medical advice. If you truly cannot get medical care for your loved one, then perhaps this information can help. There have been people who had life threatening cancers who were totally cured after getting an severe infectious disease. At one point there was a doctor who tried to replicate this by injecting different viruses into people with advanced cancer. I believe there were some that were healed, but many died of the diseases so this was stopped. The other thing to know is that cancer is killed by heat, so if your loved one gets a fever perhaps it would be better to not give anything that would lower their temperature. That fever may help kill the cancer cells. lastly, a ketogenic diet can help slow the progression of many cancers. There are cancer hospitals in Pakistan, some even offering free care. I hope you can find some oncologist who can guide you. If you do, ask about these issues I mentioned. I hope your loved one finds the help they need.
Do you have a family member who is considering conventional cancer therapies like chemo? Here's a strategy to help them reconsider: Ask them if they would enter into an important business partnership with someone -- or hire someone -- without checking at least three references. Most people will agree references are a good idea. Then suggest they ask their cancer doc for three references: The names and phone numbers of three people who have been cured of cancer by the same treatment. They will discover there are no references because chemotherapy cures very few!
Thank you for your comment. There are various tests available for detecting cancer, and each test has its own unique approach. For instance, Signatera is more suitable for checking for cancer recurrence, while Galleri might be more appropriate for early cancer detection. However, it is always recommended to consult with your doctor to determine which test would be more appropriate for your specific condition.
It's disgusting that we have spent billions and billions of dollars on research and we still don't have a cure we're still talking about more money making advances.
WHY WHY WHY- detecting cancers this way by definition detecting metastatic cancer cells- so you are NOT catching pre-metastatic disease. Many/most of these tiny cancers are probably being handled by our bodies' immune system and tumor/host interactions. This test will lead people on 'wild goose chases' for cancers that would NEVER have caused disease potentially dangerous workups, and cause mental anguish for patients while the workup is being done. Early detection is not the answer- better treatments are what are prolonging the lives of cancer patients - and that is where the future truly lies...
Like I said- YOU are wrong in assuming this test must be good/valuable! Only after a study looking at All Cause Mortality employing early intervention with this test will it be validated as useful. The potential downsides of morbidity and mortality by pursuing every abnormal in this test - some of which may involve major surgical procedures- for tumors that may NEVER have cause a problem (because they did not continue to grow/metatstisize etc) may far outweigh any benefits. Dying WITH cancer is much more common than dying OF cancer. And yes- this does in fact require a sophisticated intellectual analysis and study - the knee-jerk reaction that catching every potential tumor at its' earliest stages being a positive shows a lack of depth of understanding. It appeals to the uneducated lay person - not to a knowledgeable medical person (I am a physician!) @clarry1324
Essentially this is a 'PSA' for lots more tumors- and we all know how valuable the PSA turned out to be- basically not at all! We need a test that can identify tumors that are dangerous and that will progress - not the majority that are silent and will remain so... @@randarobinson-anderson7866

We need more doctors like you. Bless you both and thank you guys for caring. DCIS diagnosed 5/3/24
Can you tell if someone has thyroid cancer from taking blood work from the arm

I'm scheduled for signatera and want to know its accuracy. CEA, CA 27-29, CA 15-3 show elevation. How is signatera superior?
They are different tests. The Galleri is more suitable as an early detection test.

Is Tempus a circulating tumor DNA test or genomic testing for assist in targeting therapy?
Yes it’s a blood test. Can show progression and disease and also identify mutations.

Name of blood test??
They are discussing the Galleri test by Grail.

You need to draw all the blood out and replace it with new blood. Just like replacing all the transmission fluid in your car..

Please give me the reasons you think so - I gave you the reasons I felt otherwise- just saying 'You are wrong' serves no purpose...@clarry1324
Well that is certainly a well thought out intellectual response😂 Agressive early detection causes more harm than any good…
