The kitchen sink is very deep and we haven't had any issues with the bathroom sink and splashing. My hubby and I have date night every night in ours (really!). The neighbors probably laugh their heads off watching us trudge across the yard every evening with our dinner to climb in our 2020 33' FBQ Classic. It is like going to a movie theater. Yes, you can add a washer/spin dryer. We added one to our 2020 Classic 33 FBQ. It is a fully automatic washer with spin dryer. I have a small USB fan that I use to hang the damp clothes up in the bathroom to finish drying them. This model fits perfectly in the closet. I’ve washed dozens of loads using it. It is quiet, doesn’t shake the AS, can fit a full set of queen size sheets/quilted bedspread, or a regular load of clothes. We were able to add power in the closet and the drain connects under the bathroom sink. We ran the hose under the wall without drilling. We did add a drain pan under the washer for peace of mind. The model washer we installed: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078MGY2CS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Please note that you should really only use it when you have full hookup. @@sesmithfl best news. I’m sending your comment to my salesperson to see if they will install the washer/dryer when I pick up the trailer. Such a long waiting period. Late September.
A sliding screen inside with removable double dutch doors would be nice to open up the side at the campsite ... Or even just a larger door... But I think removable suicide style doors would be the better option ... And can a car alarm be used to protect your camper when it's left at a seasonal campsite or even just on your own property ...
You probably can buy/ import it if you really want to. There are some reasons not to do it, however. Firstly, you will need a car with a huge vertical towing capacity (the wheels of this airstream are more to the back of the trailer than those of European models which increases the pressure on the towbar). Secondly, the electricity must be completely changed because the European campsites only offer up to 16 amps generally and have different connections. Thirdly, this trailer is just too big to drive through Europe. I travel with an Airstream 684, which is airstream's European model. The size of it is comparable to a 25 ft. US model and that's already too big for some roads in for example Italy. You can check out airstream-germany.de for more info on the European models
Very nice, i did see a few cosmetic things in a radius cut in bathroom, and the upholstery by the Projection TV? I had a projection tv back in 2000 pretty good but certainly not state of the art with the current Flat Screens, blue ray? I'm not an expert but today its all about streaming and working at home, home schooling, so you have got to have state of the art technology. So a fantastic wifi system, Connect? and naturally you need a good ISP. Go flat screen, state of the art wifi router, Blue Tooth, etc. and then the customer can download movies to their pc, ipad, phone before trip and stream them if no ISP is available. I think blu ray and projection needs to be changed out. Otherwise i think you make the best quality trailers, might be one in our future. Also i may have missed it but i didn't see any thing on your web site that discusses recommendations on towing vehicles. I don't mean Ford, Chevy etc. but the numbers needed for safe towing etc. I think this info should be not just listed in specs but plainly presented for a new RV person/family to see so they can make sure they have the info to shop for the correct vehicle.
I would never want an RV manufacture to try and put a Wi-Fi system in an RV... Wi-Fi (I'm not talking about the internet that the Wi-Fi would connect to, just the Wi-Fi) is too easy to do yourself and since this stuff changes so much I would be switching it out for something different every few years anyways. The hardest thing to accomplish in a connected RV is getting internet to the RV for the Wi-Fi to connect to... and since there are so many options for internet service, which all change and update often, what would the RV manufacture install in there for people... A Wi-Fi extender to connect to campground Wi-Fi? A cell signal buster to connect to cell network? A Starlink antenna? Or how about complete closed Wi-Fi system connected to 4G Cell like you see in vehicles and then in 5 years it would still be using the same out of date cell technology and you cannot do anything to upgrade it, like my 2015 SUV with 3G that would have to sell and buy a new vehicle in order to upgrade it to 4G or 5G. Since Airstreams are so well built and last so long people often keep them for a long time which makes factory installed technology like this pointless, in my opinion... if people want a connected RV they would be better off doing it themselves or have a professional install it for them so they can tailor the system to fit their needs and hopefully make the system easily upgradeable in the process. Why should the Blue-Ray be changed out? Especially in RV's Blue-Rays are very nice to have since you don't always have access to internet for streaming and they are easier to understand and operate for people who are not tech savy... plus a lot of Blue-Ray players have USB ports for other media like downloaded movies. Also, just because you have a Blue-Ray player doesn't mean you cannot hook up other devices like a nVidia Shield TV, Fire TV, or Apple TV... some of which have apps where you can download movies to watch off-line. As for the projector... projectors are nothing like Projection TV's of the past and if you think projectors that are available today are not state-of-the-art then you obviously have not done any research on projectors. Just like TV's there is wide range in performance and price for projectors... you can get 8K projectors that rival the quality of OLED TV. There is a reason why people use projectors in high end home theaters. Projectors do have a down side though and that is their brightness especially in lower end projectors. So using a projector in a bright room is not going to be as nice to watch, which is why this RV has those automatic darkening shades. But the benefit to a projector is they take up way less space and if they would have put a flat screen TV in this coach instead, you would either loose the window behind the screen or the cabinets below the screen. I have no idea what the quality of the projector they put in there is but I'm guessing on a $170,000 coach it is probably a pretty good one.
We have a 2020 33’ Classic FB with the queen. The projection TV with Bose surround sound system is like being in a movie theater-only better. We’ve been having ‘date night’ with dinner and a movie every night since we bought. We traded the Blue Ray player with an upgraded model (same brand only with WiFi) and added both Apple TV and Prime with no issues. I use both the desk area and the dining table which is power adjustable for my work. The drawer next to the desk holds an all-in-one printer. We also added a fully-automatic washer with spin dryer in the closet which drains through the bathroom sink (all hidden so no worries about hoses, etc). It works fabulously as that was one big concern we had. We changed out the house batteries and added lithium batteries ourselves which lightened the tongue weight, weighs less, and gives us more power. The tow vehicle needs to be able to handle a max. 1175 tongue weight and 10K trailer. We have a weight distribution, added air bags and upgraded tires and pull our AS with a 2013 5.7L Toyota Tundra with the Tow/Haul feature on. You can’t even tell it is back there. We’ve taken it to the CAT Scales for weighing and even loaded with everything we need, have not maxed out the trailer weight.
What is the list price of the Airstream featured in this video ? Steve....inquiring from outside a small town in extremely rural southwest Mississippi......
Usually options=upgrades. Like a car that comes with cloth seats standard but you can get "optional" leather seats for an additional cost. With the Airstream there aren't price tiers of options. Like basic appliances or optional stainless steel. All the choices are the same price. You just choose your preference.
Bought brand new 2021 Classic from Austin dealer. Kept approximately one year. Was constantly at dealership for breakdowns and repairs. First trip we took after buying, the sink literally separated from the countertop and water leaks. Had to cut trip short. Finally sold after one year. Beautiful looking, but quality is VERY poor, unfortunately. Austin dealership is terrible too. Buyers of new Airstreams… beware.
Thanks for the info. I was going to look at one tomorrow. I would not be towing it anywhere, just to destination in Colorado & it would be my home. Do you think that would make a difference? Thanks
@@susandeaton7548 they are really impressive when looking at to buy. We were really excited. The quality issues, we’ve heard, are mostly on newer models as they were trying to meet the high demand covid brought on. I really believe if we’d kept it we would have worked out the initial bugs and it would have been ok. Our issue was the dealership here in Austin is so poor on the service side. The reviews online, we just kind of ignored, but they were true unfortunately. Had we had a quality dealer in this area we’d likely have kept the RV. If you feel good about the Airstream dealership in your area, from a service standpoint, I’d be fine moving forward. They are really nice rigs. Find a quality Airstream dealership somewhat close and enjoy it. Colorado sounds like a wonderful place to have one.
What a beautiful trailer, your creativity is incredible in the United States and in the first world countries of Europe it is not so difficult to buy one of these and there are several other models as well, but in Brazil one of the countries that charge the most taxes in the world world and with the corrupt politics that we have a trailer like that if it were sold here it would be more expensive than a mansion in the United States can believe. If our cars are the most expensive in taxes imagine one of these

Realize that dealers have to post the MSRP. But you will find that RV dealers negotiate better than say a car dealership.
@@overton1963 That is because nobody wants to live there
@@sarahann530 really? I live in Florida. Unfortunately too many from the northeast like to come retire here and ruin it with their liberal ideas. 😠
i want one
I prefer the QRB, front living room.
An outside camera would be nice whole circumference of trailer
Very nice but not a fan of the dark counter tops.
Where's Chris???
I would like to stay in an Airstream
We had two airstreams. They are just a hallway compared to our montana fifth wheel.
Details? Silver door handles, toilet paper holder, Silver Faucets detract 😬🙃🙏🏼 when using other Gold accents. My opinion🙃!
Whats the weight of this bad boy?? I'm guessing 10000-11000 lbs? Looks like I'll need a new full size truck to tow it...
10,000 lbs is correct!
No options, but choices? Options = Choices
Le rêve 💭
The price? I'll bet over one hundred grand.
$173,000. Its beautiful, but the price is absurd.
I love the twin bed option and kitchen. Not crazy about the bathroom sink. Bathroom not designed for women.
If our cars are the most expensive in taxes imagine one of these
Hot blonde at end 🤓
Y'all are way behind the other manufacturer s surprised by that
I honestly want something that bid buuutt don’t need the “fancy” stuff I rather have the space
Should have showed the bathroom wardrobe.
If that's your definition of lots of storage I would hate to see what you think is little storage. Airstreams are notorious for lack of storage
