- Can I feed my brother in law a meat substitute for a week? Let's find out.
Going meat-free from time to time, a couple of times a week, can help lessen our impact on the earth. Start adding more vegetables into your diet and when you get an itch, grab some meat substitutes.
Quorn actually tastes really good (i particularly like the nuggets and "sausage patties") and is a good source of low fat protein with moderate carbs. Just make sure to add it to a diet filled with lots of good for you fruits, vegetables and complex carbs.

Meat eaters do try vegan food. It’s just not for them. Vegans are the ones who need to stop shoving it up meat eaters’ throat. There’s a reason why people has the freedom to choose what they want to do or eat. Meat eaters aren’t even shoving any of their beliefs. It’s the vegans who forces meat eaters to eat something different, so the fact that matters is that it’s the vegans are the ones who needs to stop being douches and let people be themselves. If they want to be vegans, one day they will. If not, leave people alone and eat your grass.
"Don't shove us your beliefs show us an alternative", totally disagree there, as you can see around the world, the vegans are the ones who shoves meat eaters their beliefs. They even protest shits. I'm a meat eater, but I also eat vegan meals sometimes.

Quorn is not vegan, contains eggs unless you buy vegan specific. But this guy just added bone broth which is not vegan at all. So test is a FAIL...
The problem with these alternatives are they're usually more expensive.

Such an awesome experiment showcasing meat alternatives. I grew up as the only person in my family who prefers to eat greens than meat. Though I still consume a small amount of meat from time to time, this video showed some good arguments that meat alternatives are not bad as people say it is. Awesome video man! 👍🏻

the only reason why I eat red meat from time to time is because a doctor advised me to because of iron deficiency...it's only last year that I decided to search for plant-based alternatives and I'm okay...though I'm not vegan, watching documentaries or reading about food and destruction of earth made me a little bit more conscious

Being vegan not necessarily needs you to buy meat substitute :) You can just go ahead and eat regular veggies and fruits...

You can get all the essential aminoacids (proteins) you get from meat by eating legumes and starches in the same meal. So think about a tofu-noodle, meatless beanburrito, lentilsoup with bread etc. Usually really cheap and high in nutrients. If you go completely plant-based just add some b12 supplements in and good to go.

this is a genuine question out of curiosity. i love the concept behind quorn but isn't it processed food at the end of the day, so how healthy can it really get? this is not meant to be sassy. i am genuinely wondering if it's an any better alternative. thank you for anyone who will care to explain.
Yup lots of discussions like that happening online about that. It is processed, but like everything, in moderation it could be good and may help people become curious about meat alternatives (including veggies, tofu, tempeh etc..) :)
