NOTE (7/6/2013): WOW, how did this video ever get so popular??!?! This is by far my most popular upload but I'm REALLY not sure why. When I made this video I thought it was kind of ugly, and never in a million years did I think this would turn out as popular as it did. So I have to say... THANK YOU ALL FOR SUPPORTING ME AND LIKING THIS SO MUCH!!! ... even though I'm not sure why you guys chose THIS video to be my most popular laughs
So... I watched "Cats Don't Dance" for the first time about a week ago and completely fell in love with all of the dancing scenes. I searched my iTunes for a song that would fit well with those scenes and an animash started from there ^_^
I originally had a sketch-type effect at the beginning from 0:12 to 0:25 ... but it didn't render right, of course T.T The same thing happened from 2:49 to 3:03 ... but that didn't render right either XD So I just got rid of the effect all together.
I kinda favored the "Glint" and "Border" effects for this video XD As well as cookie cutters, definitely!
I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out, I enjoyed making it very much! ^_^ Hopefully you'll enjoy watching it just as much! :D

This was my favorite song and animash, I enjoy thinking back then when I was so obsessed with these videos! I'm vibing rn! This gives me so much nostalgia and so many feelings I can't even explain. My favorite phase of my childhood was definitely ANIMASH!!

@@magdalenast.7936 She uses Vegas Pro and it's what I use personally. It's a good beginner's program when you don't want something too easy nor too hard.
People also use Adobe After Effects, but it's a lot more complicated and I'd suggest hiring a tutor before learning the program.

I know this is old, but it's really nice to see an animasher using Jungledyret Hugo clips in their AMVs. That's a rare sight, desprite the fact of how a great movie the danes managed to make with the Warner Bros. Just one of the many reasons to why, I'm proud of being a dane. XD

Thanks for letting me know. I used to use windows live movie maker but now I bought movie studios. You might not know but it's by the people who made sony vegas and actually it's the same thing. The problem is, is that I can't use the mask tool because of the version.
