    That doesnt seem right.why wouldnt your channel 'A' be your bypass sound eliminating the need for 2 triggers...

    Hello there!
    I just got a Fender Bassbreaker 30 and it comes with a 2 button footswitch. The amp has 2 channels and a high gain button to drive the dirty channel even more.
    On the foot switch, button 1 changes from clean to dirty and button 2 enables the high gain for the dirty channel.
    When I connect my insert cable into triggers 1 & 2, the amp seems to only switch between clean and high gain, not allowing me to access the dirty channel on the amp without the high gain engaged.
    Any idea what combination of trigger configuration/different cable routing options might work in this case?
    Much thanks!

      I wouldn't know unfortunately. Sorry. I'd reach out to Fender, see if they can help.

    Is it possible to use the trigger fuction to change the clean and the distortion channel on a mesa dual rectifier?

    Hello, I've just bought a PXL PRO in order to control the channels in the Joyo Mjolnir but it doesn't work. The amp doesn't recognize the controller. I noticed that the cable which came with the amp is in stereo and the PXL PRO triggers are in mono. So I decided to get a stereo cable with one stereo connector and two mono connectors and it controls the distortion channel but not the clean. Can you help me please to solve this problem.

    Getting noise from loops that are deselected, ie my drum pedal can be heard at a lower volume even though I'm bypassing that loop. Wtf.

      Might be a cable shielding issue. There's no quick fix, other than to check all you connecting and power cables unfortunately.

    Hi would the triggers work with an vox ac15ch ? To switch between the normal and top boost channel. ( A 1/4" from 1 trigger to normal channel and 2nd trigger to top boost channel) ?
    What I'm looking to do is for eg. Have distortion pedal on in normal channel , and then with the press of a button switch to top Boost channel with distortion pedal off.
    Thanks Mark

    • @thehont8648
      @thehont8648  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      In theory that should work fine, as long as your amp has a foot switch input (which most modern AC15s do). You would then connect the JOYO to the foot switch input. I'd check with VOX to be absolutely sure it will work though.

    Hey.i am using a dsl 100.only one channel switch possible. I plugged in in trigger 2 and i see there is the green light at the amp but it jumps back to red quickly.so i cant use the the overdrive channel. Is it possible that i have to use a stereo cable instead of a mono cable? The footswitcher has a stereo cable?

    Thanks for the video! I'm new to this sort of stuff - is this using Control Voltage to change the channels? I ask because I have an Empress Echosystem that can receive control voltage of 0-5 volts to change knob settings, wondering if this would work for it?

    Quick question what if I’m using a three channel amp that also has reverb will two triggers be enough or would I need more trigger outputs?

    • @thehont8648
      @thehont8648  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on how the channel switching works. If it cycles through the three channels two would be enough. If each requires a separate trigger then it won't.

    thanks for sharing the vid. i'm pretty stoked on the PXL looper, and curious what pedalboard you have it paired with here. wanted to pair it with the Accel XTA21 but the swithcer tray is a little too narrow (20" vs 22" Joyo PXL). thanks again

      Sorry. Only just seen this now. The pedalboard was self-built, though, so it probably doesn't help.

    I got a Peavey triple X head and I bought a custom made cable that splits the seven-pin footboard pedal output into three 1/4” jacks to plug into three of the trigger inputs of the Joyo Pxl Pro’s four trigger inputs. I’m having difficulty programming channel 1A to be set to the ultra channel on the Peavey Head and channel 1C to switch to the clean channel. It seems that when I correctly set it up for channel 1A, having the polarity on only for trigger 1, then program channel 1C, having the polarity on only for trigger 2, it wipes out my polarity saved setting for channel 1A setting it so only trigger 2 polarity is on preventing me from activating the distortion channel when I switch back to 1A.

    • @thehont8648
      @thehont8648  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there. That's not something I can help with unfortunately. I doubt that either the Peavey or the JOYO have been designed with this configuration in mind. Sorry.

    how would you connect a noise gate ns-2 with it?

    • @thehont8648
      @thehont8648  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      1) You could put it in one of the loops (after your drive pedals) and just activate it when needed. 2) Or you could place it in-line from the output. Or 3) If it's only one pedal causing noise, put it in the same loop as that pedal.
      Hope that helps.

      Yes you can do that. Set the Et function to both 1A and 1C but different values. E.g. Set Et on 1A to on and Et on 1C to off. Exact settings will vary depending on your amp. HTH.
