Have we ever seen anything that well organized in such an enormous scale in the US, and have it be that orderly? Not that I can think of. Even the parade of nations in the Olympics has become a mess these days, with athletes doing silly partying and holding phones. Gotta at least give them credit for that.

It was alright with the Germany itself that, with its unique law of implementation and unorthodox approach towards the improvement of collective body, represented a different world from the one of the great depression and debts who did not knew that sphere of knowledge nor it wanted to recognize outside the borders of German Reich.

In 1962 when I was a Soldier in the U.S. Army I stood on the dais in the very spot where Hitler gave his speech. It was up high overlooking the huge parade ground below. Just 17 yrs. prior to that I would have been shot on the spot. On that day my wife and I were the only ones in the entire stadium and it was so peaceful and quite, it was hard to imagine what had gone on there before.

In the early 2000s when I was stationed in hohenfels we used to visit Nuremberg and the party rally grounds which were also used as the festplatz. I need to revisit.

If you speak english, then learning german must be not to difficult. I am german, and easily learned basic english.
@@brittakriep2938and when you talk English, Dutch is even easier for you to learn then German. It is easier then you think because these languages are from the same family. I as a Dutch learned German from my mother's mother, who came to the Netherlands in 1931. She lived on the same house block so once a week I went there and she only talked German to me. Was very good for my grades. Her four brothers were in the Wehrmacht. From one I have his name and from the other I have his Wehrpass and medals that he gave me personally. She did not like Hitler because she lost two brothers because of his wars and she told me that when he was on the radio, she shut it off because she did not want to hear "that shouter" ( der Schreiber). And because of having family this close in that war, I am forever very interested in it.....

@@gerhard6105 : I am german, so i speak german for 59 years now, is not so difficult when you are german (great surprise!). A small mistake, surely socalled autocorrection: You surely mean, that your grandmother called Hitler: Der Schreier ( the shouter/ the loud speaker), Schreiber means secretary. But when you as assumingly dutch person learn german language, don' t be surprised, there are still persons, me included, who prefer speaking dialect over Standard German.

As a Germanophile brainiac, an estimated 205 of Germany's architectural treasurechest cities & towns were mindlessly firestormed by phosphorus while the Austrian premadonna really didn't care at all. If that didn't happen, every one of those cities would be equally as alluring and popular with tourists as Prague, Budapest, Paris & London. I have lived mostly in Italy from 1961 - 1971 and it became abundantly clear the American 8th air force caused more murder and destruction to Italy than what the SS Storm Troopers did in the caves outside of Rome in 1943.
