I'm so happy I found this video. The lessons are not too complicated for a beginner like me to understand, and you explained everything so clearly! ありがとうございますせんせい
so happy to see a new video sensei! I've just came back from my first Japan trip... wahahhaha, my listening is zero, but felt very comfortable with Japanese people around me, learning from this channel helps a lot!😊
Great lesson. I'm in Japan now on a long vacation. My question is how do you say "Do you have something/anything with (insert ingredient name here. Ex. meat, chicken, pork)." I know how to say meat, ckn, prk, but it seems like, in this case, 'anything/something' is used a little different than your example so I wonder if there's a different word. Google translate isn't helping or I'm just not pronouncing it incorrectly because people have looked at me funny.
Thank you for your comment. If you want to ask "Do you have any dish with chicken?" then you'd ask "Chicken no RYOURI wa arimasu ka?". So, "Do you have ANYTHING with chicken?" could be "Chicken no NANIKA wa arimasu ka?". or if you mean more like "Do you have ANYTHING chicken?", then it could be "NANIKA chicken wa arimasu ka?". But, the sentence may be ambiguous if there's no clear context, and in that case, we would probably phrase it differently. Hope this helps:)
