My biggest card is a Victor Wembanyama Ausar Thompson 1/1 Panini Logoman RC. That NO one on ebay seems to want to buy. I will NOT be sending it to PSA to be graded, since PSA is LOUSY at Grading Patch cards. I did send in one Wemby Patch card to be graded, thought it was going to get a PSA 10 or worse case a PSA 9, and they graded it a PSA 8. So it won't sell for very much now.
Unless you are strapped for cash and even if you are, I would sit on the Patrick Mahomes Downtown, because even if he retired today, he's a first ballot HOF'er. The only threat of his card prices being devalued is if he beats his wife, kids or pull a Wander Franco. Anyway, that's an outstanding hit! Congrats.
I am getting cards graded to start my PC. I'm not not looking to sell. I sent in a 2024 Upper Deck Golf John Daly, Joel Dahmen, John Daly11 Footsteps card # F-3 it came back a PSA Gem Mint 10, and this card is the only PSA 10 that exists.

I didn't know anything about certain websites like 130pt until a couple of years later, as all I had was eBay's "Sold/Comps." Anyway, like you, when I get a case hit, it's normally of an O-lineman or some weak player, and I actually pulled two Downtowns, one of a no-name player and the other of the Saints Michael Thomas, who was injured at the time. Because i didn't check the checklist, I had no idea how rare they were and I literally placed both Downtowns in my "common" inserts and parallel 5000 count box...until, a year or so later, i was watching TH-cam videos and I went, "Wait a freaking minute! I have two of those cards!" I spent most of that night going through several 500 count boxes, until i came acroos both of them, penny sleeved them, top loaded them. I ended up trading the Michael Thomas Downtown for a 2024 Topps Finest Baseball hobby box, 2024 Topps Chrome Tennis Breaker's Delight box and a bunch of $25.00 2024 rookie singles. All from a card, I literally had in my insert/parallel common 5000 count box.
I am old and have been "collecting" since the late 80's. I said "collecting," because as a punk kid in the 70's and early 80's I bought cards just to place into my bike tire spokes. Anyway, I, too have never had a card personally graded, even though I just submitted four cards for grading in a huge SGC group submission by a local LCS. I also have thousands of low-numbered cards, as well, as some RPA's but they are all on thick stock. To be honest if PSA was faster, I would only submit with them, but to still be waiting three months in 2024 is ridiculous. With tht said, my lower-end cards will be sent to SGC, as well as my PC cards, but I am going to bite the bullet, pay the $199 PSA membership fee and start to submit a lot of my cards.
It’s virtually impossible to tell the difference between an ultra modern PSA 9 and 10 unless it’s way off centered. It’s mind boggling in this hobby why an ultra modern PSA 10 is so much more $$$ than a PSA 9 when you can get the same looking card in a PSA 9.

Most of the cards are scam 90% just to make content they do anything to lie To people there will be unlimited amount of cards printed within two years But you cannot duplicate vintage is the king.

I highly recommend laying the card on a flat surface when using the microfiber cloth to clean it up.
And work from the middle out so you don’t catch a corner with the microfiber cloth
