This just makes me miss these 2 as these 3 hedgehogs even more. Jason hasn’t even played Sonic in years but sounds as if he has and has improved the voice even further than it was in Black Knight. There’s so much more attitude put into it now. God, I miss him so muuuuuch.

Jason's still working! He's been doing additional voices for some big animated movies lately! You don't always need to be starring major roles in stuff to have a flourishing career ;)

@@natedeanmaan2 Not EVERYTHING about '06 was bad, level design was perfect (it was open and explorable, not linear), there was ACTUAL gameplay (unlike FORCES, 80% of that game is Boost-to-win, it's boring as heck), the story had an INSANE amount of plotholes, but at least it was entertaining (unlike FORCES' story, don't try to tell me otherwise) and some character portrayals were perfect (for example: Sonic, Shadow and the rest of Team Dark). I don't know why most people think everything in that game is bad, when Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, Secret Rings AND Forces exists.. ugh.

I'm not a big fan of his take on Sonic, since he's hardly improved since Colors, but I know a lot of the lackluster performances is the fault of the writers and voice direction. He sounded fine in Boom, but he hasn't really had many chances to shine in a serious Sonic game with actually competent dialogue. We'll see how Frontiers and Sonic Prime plays out. Still prefer Ryan, Jason and Jun'ichi over him as of his performance in Rise of the Wisps, but we'll see. Let's hope the writers do him justice, because he is a really talented voice actor.

Dude, if you're a true Sonic fan, this cover will mean the world to you. Pun intended. And just everything about this makes me almost wanna cry. From the VAs reprising, to the beautiful vocals, to the kickass rap lines added in. Sonic has struggled for a long time, but he's always stayed. And tbh on a personal level, I never lost love for him. Sonic, Shadow, Silver, they be mah boys and that'll never change. Who's with me? X3

Sonic sounds a bit older, yet hasn't changed a single bit. Feels quite fitting given most of us who love this Sonic are adults now. Silver is still exactly the same. The same ole lovable, naive little cinnamon roll. Just doing his best. Shadow is intense af. I love the conviction in his voice, and I am so happy to see that Shadow after all these years. Feels almost like I'm reuniting with childhood friends after so many years.

Sonic 06's gameplay as story was... well, everyone already knows, but it did give us Silver who i think fits in well next to Sonic and Shadow And seeing them all go super and fight as a golden trio was awesome.

Sonic 06's gameplay as story was... well, everyone already knows, but it did give us Silver who i think fits in well next to Sonic and Shadow
And seeing them all go super and fight as a golden trio was awesome.
Too bad Silver and Shadow haven't gotten any gameplay since then, unless you count that Forces Shadow DLC.
