Hi Rick! Thank you my friend, I am glad you liked it! Indeed, there are many shapes that make nice Christmas presents and are more or less easy to turn into bottle stoppers: this christmas bulb, a pine tree, a snowman, an ornament, and a champagne bottle. Those would be nice gifts for that time of the year. Cheers! Daniel
Orale, Daniel!! Nice demo showing the differences between different finishes. Personally, I like the OB SHINE JUICE or abrasive paste finishes. Those are the finishes I rely upon when i finish my wood turnings. I like the CA finish, but for me it is too time consuming. However, it is the most durable of those demonstrated finishes.
Hi John! Thank you, my dear friend, for watching the video and for nice comments! I agree, I also use the abrasive paste and the friction polish a lot, because they are so easy to apply and provide great results. The CA glue si if you really want to have something that will last forever, but the application is really laborious. Cheers! Daniel
Hi Ian! Thank you, my dear friend, for your comments! I generally do not apply sanding sealer, I probably should, but I am a bit impatient! hahahaha! What do you use as sanding sealer? Shellac? Cheers! Daniel
Beautiful stoppers Daniel.
Hi Jack! Glad you like them! Thank you so much for the comment! Cheers! Daniel
Thank you again Daniel. I think I'm going to make bottle stoppers for Christmas presents....
