I corked 14 bottles using this recently and it was everything but easy and simple. Does amount of wine make a difference in bottle?

Question: I need a replacement for the Spring that is underneath the Bottle Platform. Do you know where I can find a replacement part for this?

Hi there - I purchased this floor corker but I generally bottle with 375 ml size (half bottle if you will). I've noticed while it does work, the corks have not been going in at correct depth. Is it the bottle size, or can I somehow adjust the depth so they stop sticking out of the bottle?

It's a bit late now. I noticed a review elsewhere that someone made a block of wood to raise the 375 ml bottle up higher so it would get corked to the correct depth.
If it's too late to help you or maybe that was your review I saw, others may see this an be helped by it.

What size corks? I have 8 and they seem too small

I’m still new to corking but when I was researching it, I found that 9’s are the normal, but if you don’t have a good rig that compresses the cork they can be a pain to get in. I have one of these corkers, so I’m hoping it works well with the 9’s.

This product does not work well or champagne style corks or Belgium bottle beer corks where you leave a half an inch of cork outside of the bottle. The cork will catch when the Iris clamps back away and the variable platform will not allow you to drop the bottle sooner. The iron throat above the bottle grab the cork and will damage the cork. Some corks will come out with just a cut around the cork neck. Other courts will be more significantly damaged. I'm sure if you tried this you know what I'm talkin about.
