I saw him live in 1986 Beijing wushu tour in SF. His eagle claw and drunken fist/sword forms were the best performances I've seen live. I'd met him in 1994 in Beijing. He wasn't a coach for the Beijing Team. He told me he was coaching straightsword to chinese folk dancers. I think it was for a Peking Opera company.
