"Any skeletons that look peaceful are almost certainly up to no good."
I was sad about the skelly placement at 34:11 since it meant Leonard missed a master locked chest... He only accessed the loot from the skeleton for some meager gold. I hope the chest wasn't important..
And I miss the days when he'd say "Cool helmet" when he would walk by an Iron Helmet that matches the one from his avatar and logo.
yeah the "Master" prompt even popped on the screen for a brief moment :(
@@archstanton9073 you mean ancient nord helmet. Cuz that was Stiv's main helmet that inspired the logo
Whatever artifacts you get at the end of this better be amazing. No pun intended.
Eh, I think they are, but it's a matter of preference, I guess.
"That's really aMAZIng, this place survived the Red Year..." Probably its just me, but I just still can't help feeling he said it on purpose...)
This dungeon is missing gelatinous cubes from D&D.
I use my frost magic to mark my way in tricky dungeons. I think one of my mods (FEC?) is what makes the marks stay around long enough for it to work. Sometimes I use flames, especially if I need a second type of mark, but those marks are a lot harder to see. I came up with that method in Bleak Falls Barrow Revisited. I'd have NEVER made it through there without a system like that. It made this maze seem easy.
Excellent idea!
The first maze did give me a lot of trouble however due to the second one being all on one floor the trusty "hug one wall and stick with it" technique really did help for solving it. While I get the frustration that a lot of players have with the Quest design of the Rkund expedition I thoroughly enjoyed the difficulty some parts it brings i.e. the mazes.
The first maze is not to difficult either. If you amend the advice in the book. Instead of placing torches as you go, just back fill from any dead end you find. And count the entrances you did not enter as a dead ends when you come back to them.
@@ErebosDK you're right about that for sure, still more difficult than what game designers have put in games in the recent few years (looking at nordic ruin "puzzles" for example)
@Urusovite Legacy of the Dragonborn (LOTD), I don't think it is available on anything but PC. It is HUGE. I forget how many GB it is.
Somebody's probably been watching Red Dwarf recently.
I used the map in both of those. It helped find the long flight of stairs in the first maze, and the back wall in the second. I did whirlwind sprint, to jump the end of the back wall.
"I sort of feel like a cat"
You do realize, I hope, that you may have just inspired someone to make a khajit mod where that lets the player 'mark their territory' so to speak.
It’s not just a maze. It’s aMAZEing!!! Great vid as always, Gopher.
GODDAMN you beat me to it
The four passageway portion reminds me of the Winchester Mystery House, in San Jose, California (search it). This overall dungeon also reminds me of "Wizardry" a little.
Oh boy! Lenny got frustrated at the end and forgot to keep hugging the left wall.
"A mark to put on the wall" like an Explosive Rune perhaps ;)
Wait, I'm actually fully caught up on these again? Well what do I do now?
Been a great time catching up with it all Gopher, glad the series is still as entertaining as ever 💜
Start all over again from the beginning. That's what I've done.
I've also been catching up on 'Grounded' and 'Trouble on Gorgon'.
Not the best, gamewise, but Gopher (and Chay) makes them very enjoyable.
@@Hare_deLune I have as well. Those two are a hoot sometimes.
@@LUVNYLA
Absolutely! : )
@@pedigreeann just checking in 6 months later to say that was a very good idea. :)
Didn't loot the chest at 34:18
More cheese! The one and only comfort food! Well, maybe chocolate too.
I had the exact same reaction as Lenny when it came to the maze.
The mod is exceptional over all but I never enjoy this maze nonsense. I lack patience and get frustrated too easily. I’m here to kill anything that moves and steal anything that doesn’t. 😂
You *can* leave a mark on a wall by casting your own rune spell upon it, if you know any.
However, any new ones cast will remove the old one.
He did find a tome for Frost Rune recently.
1:09 Yep, its really a-maze-ing!
This is going to be a-maze-ing!
You should had dropped items like Hansel and Gretel.
Despite it's flaws I'm enjoying this location, it really forces Lenny to go outside his comfort zone
you finished part 1
Welcome to part 2
When I played this quest I looked forward to seeing you have all the fun I had. I hope you brought enough food ha ha
"Or a piece of chalk" I lol'ed
the problem with magicv is every problem looks like a use for new spell,
There *is* charcoal in the game, but it can't be used in that way.
The only thing available is casting a rune spell on the wall, if you know any.
@@Hare_deLune its a reference to a meme gopher himself has mentioned, "once you have a hammer everything looks like a nail"
Well, I've played this quest, and I'm pretty sure it isn't a space station. Unless I missed a *lot*?
Exactly what I was thinking!
@Urusovite Legacy of the Dragonborn
I actually "solved" the maze by jumping over the last wall :P
You can bypass most of it, going to the left side from the start.
That's not a maze.
It's a Space Station!
Exposition Team: the guild master is taking an age. Let’s YOLO it!
Back when I first play skyrim, I always hated Dwemer ruins that get me lost for hours. This maze however is a NEXT LEVEL NIGHTMARE. A Maze inside a fricking Maze. 😂 If I was a real person that explore this ruins I'd lost my mind.
Traveling through a maze always gives me a headache. I can watch you do it and I'm fine. Odd.
That's Not A Maze...It's A Space Station.
If a maze after a maze is tedious, imagine Gopher playing Mr. Maze.
What an a MAZE-ing episode!
Good afternoon Gopher 😊
Was that a Red Dwarf reference?
"Come on let me cheat!" Yep. That's the Leonard way. lol. I completely understand him after all that's happened in that place so far.
34:18 you didnt loot the chest you looted the skeleton
Really who cares, chests in this game are usually worthless garbage in them anyway that can just be left or ignored.
@@xJamesLaughx Last master locked chest I looted had a common soul gem and 52 gold. Thanks, Skyrim.
@@xJamesLaughx
Gopher cares.
@@xJamesLaughx might have had something interesting, ya never know when your games modded like that

It's surprise me that leanord has not found a way to store things when returning to the museum overburden. Like some sort a bag that he can store things in or some short of item with infinite storage so he doesn't have give up on things he needs.
there's many packpacks in his mod list, Leanord refuses to use them "because they look ugly" and that's about the gist of it
If he had found the rest of the standing stones, he would have been given The Bag of Holding, in which he could stash stuff. I think its from the Andromeda Standing Stones mod, which is does have active.
This episode was amazing ... cmon
lol.... Maze hax
I'm gonna be honest the maze before the maze kinda sucks no disrespected to the mod author or anything I'm sure he/she worked long and hard on it, but all the noises happening all at once gave me a headache. But even with that seeing that hallway open up into that massive underground chamber with the real maze just sitting there made it all worth it.
i love mazes
I wish it was maize instead of maze
Feeling hungry?
I had to take a break from LotD Quests after Rkund. Mazes are tedious and poor game design. It's just my opinion, but honestly the worst part of the mod is the level design.
I guess it's just individual taste. I enjoy mazes, but I'm really methodical in approaching them.
@@MittensTheMurderKitty Yep, I also enjoy mazes - maybe it's because they aren't explicitly presented as a puzzle that people don't realise that they are one and end up either following a wall or just guessing, but solving a maze is one of the things I love the most
I think they wanted to build an actual maze, as apposed to the bethesda version of labyrithum. (which is terrible)
Out of curiosity if you as gopher found the entrance straight away would you still as lenny have to act like you didn’t and explore the maze ?
I mean he has played at the least all the official content numerous times before and plays it like it's blind for leonard, see soul cairn for example. If Leonard hits the exit then Leonard hits the exit. Whether that's right away or really late.
You grab a potion which you call resist fire and yet it is labeled as Fortify Archery. Can you rename it to what you actually use it for, to stop my confusion?
14:00 - You hear of traps being called The Fuckinator - but if there's ever a trap that *_deserved_* to be called The Fuckinator, it's definitely THAT one. Especially with the way the opening in the floor seems to be getting repeatedly stretched open.
I know this is irrelevant, but I just wanted to reach you on your most recent video, but do you know if there are any Fallout New Vegas level cap mods? Level 50 isn't enough to get every single perk in the game and I just to get the most xp out of every quest.
It's really easy to go to the Nexus Mods site for FNV and do a search for 'level cap', you know. : P
idk how you do it, i just couldn't deal with most of this expedition and just "TCL"ed the heck out of it all, just to be done with it. and sadly the expedition after this one will also be as..annoying at some points
Take enough time and methodically explore and you find your way out. It took me longer then Gopher but I had Lucien mod Kaiden to keep me company.
Out of everything in Legacy, the only expedition I hated and would just TCL through was this one. All the others I was fine with. Just hate the damned magma silo (glad they added a portal for people who aren't willing to suffer that crab) and the fucking maze.
I've actually cheated on the next maze. Not by using tcl tho. You can actually just bypass the whole maze by going around it. From its left side. You gotta jump a lot, but you can just pass the second maze like that.
This might just be the single most irritating part of any game I've played... Incredibly tedious.
